Chelsea Hotel, New York, NY Sid Vicious of Sex Pistols and his girlfriend Nancy Spungen moved to the Chelsea Hotel in the room 100 after the band broke up. They spent their time there having heated fights, doing lots of drugs and raising hell. On October 12th of 1978, Nancy was found dead in the bathroom of room 100. Sid was arrested on the murder charge of Nancy and later released on bail. On the 1st February 1979, Sid Vicious found dead in his bed due to a heroin overdose. Guests of room 100 have felt temperature shifts, heard the voices of a fighting couple, claim to have seen Sid's ghost. It's believed that Sid's ghost walks the hotel searching for Nancy in the afterlife but she doesn't want to be found.

McMenamins Edgefield - Troutdale, OR

This hotel is the renovated Multnomah County Poor Farm. Guests have reported seeing the apparition of a ghostly WWII woman dressed in white walking the grounds.

Palmer House Hotel - Sauk Centre, MN

Rumored to be the most haunted location in the state of Minnesota, the Palmer House Hotel has had reports of ghostly sightings since the 1950's. Guests have described seeing a child's ball rolling down empty hallways, hearing voices in empty rooms and felt hands touching them when alone.

Harry Houdini Harry Houdini was obsessed with ghost stories, fortune tellers, and seance. His obsession leads him to debunk most "professionals" spending lots of time figuring out how they made spirits appear, ghostly sounds and temperature shifts. This obsession was created by the death of his beloved mother Cecilia who he tried to contact from the other side. When he found he was being lied to and tricked he set out to prove how these performers were tricking the heartbroken. After Harry's death his wife held seances every Oct. 31st for years to try and contact him, she never succeeded.

Sleepy Hollow, NY

Ichabod Crane, is a Yankee schoolteacher who lives in Sleepy Hollow, a Dutch enclave on the Hudson River. A suggestible man, Crane believes the ghost stories and tales of witchcraft he has heard and read. He is particularly impressed by the tale of a spectral headless horseman said to haunt the area. Late one night as Ichabod Crane rides home from a party at, he is suddenly frightened by a ghostlike headless horseman. The ghost pursues him and hurls at him a round object that he takes to be a head but is later revealed to have been a pumpkin. The schoolmaster was never seen in Sleepy Hollow again.
