In 1916, Harry Houdini visited New Orleans and performed his famous straightjacket escape trick while being suspended upside down on Canal Street. Amongst the crowd was a young Alastor…
Yes, this is absolutely based on the Hot Topic straightjacket Alastor t-shirt
Harry Houdini's last performance was on October 24, 1926, at the Garrick Theater in Detroit, Michigan.
Listening to podcasts about Harry Houdini is one way to realize how little people know about Jews and Judaism. The number of times I've heard these podcasters say that his dad (a rabbi!) was a priest or a minister or worked at a "Jewish church," like how hard is it to say that the guy was a rabbi who worked at a synagogue/temple

Batman/Houdini Adventures
Yes, I did make animation concepts inspired by "The Devil's Workshop".
The comic was such a good read at a real rough time in my life, and is still my fave Elseworlds.
Anyway, here's a team up I never expected to love so much!
Firstly, we have Batman and Bruce Wayne. I had a lot of fun making an "animation-freindly" version of a GOREGOUS Batsuit design.
Also, I'm gonna spread some Wasian Bruce propaganda. He has a Chinese dad and a Jewish mom (and is based on Charlie Chan).
Harry has a wife and kids in this universe, and will have a very famous descendant in a few years. :-)
Stay tuned for some bad guys!
