For the soldiers, who like Davis Seaworth stood by Stannis Baratheon even when he believed the Red Witch would bring him glory, (Yes, that is a Game of Thrones reference, watch it and thank me later.) For the soldiers, that break through iron clad detention camps disguised by sulphurous smog and the fake smiles your heart offers to the world in the form of an apology for your existence. To redwoods that stand by your side drawing your sight away from the dirt-filled situations that surround you and focus your attention on the possibilities that will soon be in reach. For the architect and 'the fixer, who design ships to carry your visions across uncharted waters and weather the storms with you, who know just how to work a lethal situation out in your favour, who dare you to dream bigger and accommodate its growth with truth, faith and trust. To the mason jars that carry memories of our heartbreaks, mistakes and fashion police jail breakers, thank you. Thank you for giggles that cut through depression like a chainsaw. Thank you for ploughing through self-indulgent complaints and mindless waffling to find the treasures that fill our 'What Stephanie Said' joke book. Thank you for sitting in silence when your presence was the loudest thing I needed to hear. Thank you for knocking on the doors of my heart, to remind me that it was still here. Thirty-one.

For awhile, I've been trying to think of something epic to put as my last fact about me, but I honestly have no idea. And I guess thats life sometimes, its not always epic, but I still hope its interesting.

Number thirty-one: I am really scared of spiders. At some points in my life, I have screamed out for my housemates to come up and kill a tiny spider for me because I couldn't do it. When I was younger, I used to take water guns and shoot down spiders with my brother that were on the wall, or we would take wet toilet paper and throw it at the spider (because it sticks to the wall). Fun, yet scary times. I am also so afraid of centipedes, thinking about it makes me want to die. I never saw a house centipede until I moved into a student house in my second year of university... and I freaked out. I have killed one or two myself, but every single time, my heart pounds like its going to fall out of my chest.

Thirty.

Number thirty: I secretly, or maybe not so secretly, have an obsession with buying socks and underwear.

Twenty-nine.

Number twenty-nine: I have had Bell's palsy on the right side of my face before. It happened New Year's Day of 2005. Probably the most scariest experience I've had.

I remember waking up on New Year's day and eating a hot pocket, and then suddenly I just couldn't feel the right side of my face and slowly I couldn't move it at all. It lasted for a couple of weeks, and it was the most traumatizing thing, especially when I had no idea what it was and if it would heal for the first 5 hours it happened. 

It eventually healed, but to this day, I have not had a hot pocket since.

Number twenty-eight: I have never had a Big Mac!

Twenty-seven.

Number twenty-seven: I like to sleep in cold beds. I don’t like it when people lay in my bed right before I go to sleep and I have to sleep in their heat. I just can’t stand that, just like I can’t stand sitting on warm seats.
