WIP Wednesday

yet another snippet from my @zelinkweekofficial day 6 story: rituals it’s nine chapters and an epilogue help ----------

“Mirror of Twilight,” he recited, his eyes flickering towards the box that kept his shard locked away.

“The Twilight Realm is a dimension of darkness,” Zelda said, turning the page. On the next were illustrations of…things that he could only assume came from said dimension. “That is where this mirror is from.”

“How did it get here, then?” he asked. “I mean, the stories–sure, I know of the Hero and the Twilight Princess, but I don’t understand how–”

“-how the shard could have ended up in a place like Ordon?” she completed.

“I didn’t find it in Ordon,” he replied, his brows furrowed. “I found it… I don’t… I don’t remember where I found it.” 

His voice had tapered off into a murmur, but she must have heard him. 

“Yes,” she said, and she sounded sympathetic. “You have said you don’t remember what happened. There is only darkness.”

“When I returned with it, it was like…like people knew what I had. Like they could feel it. I couldn’t herd the goats anymore, and my horse wouldn’t let me near.”

“It attached.” Zelda’s hand rested on the open page, her fingers drumming against it. “That is what this mirror does, when not being used in its proper state. Every account of these shards end with someone spiraling into madness.”

fanfic game ask for wyliwf verse??? (its my favorite i love it so so soooo much!!!!)

ooh, i’ve done wyliwf, but you know what, wyliwf verse, i’ll go ahead and:

one thing i’m proud of: it’s not technically out yet, but!!!! it does have to do with something that i said i was proud of, and i’ll go ahead and say characterization, but with three specific characters that i didn’t mention in the ask before. i’m really excited to see how a specific oneshot (that’s plotted to be chaptered out whoops) is going to affect the Character Dynamics here bc i think in gg canon it didn’t really Step Up to the potential it had and buddy i am stepping it up.

one thing i’d change: i need to sit down and plot out the timeline RIGHT NOW. like, right now. because i keep coming up with ideas in logan and roman’s college years (i am very much looking forward to writing their respective friend groups) and ideas that take place in the og gilmore girls canon that i’m deciding if i should stay where they are, or excise entirely, or have but put in a different spot in the timeline, so. one of the things i’d change is actually kind of a work in progress, so i can’t spoil it even though it was supposed to be out already but i’ll let you know what it is when it’s out!
