October 4th. We just gotta make it through 2 weeks. I can do this.
Two wholesome moments and Panya being pretty.
[ID: three traditional drawings of scenes from the podcast Outlaws & Obelisks.
1: Onuris Budge and his companion Nebit sit side by side. Budge is a Simic Hybrid black man with grey skin, floppy ears, tusks and a grey afro. He’s drawn from the side and smiles as he looks up from his sitting position. He says “Yeah so the little girl that lives in my hat says hi!”. Nebit is a flamingo cheetah hybrid. She’s also drawn from the side.
2: Chang Hushi is sitting in a hotspring, surrounded by chickens. Hushi is an East Asian Goliath with pale skin, long, black hair. They’re holding three eggs in their end and look down at them with a smile.
3: Panya looks into the distance with a sad, yearning expression. She’s a black Kalashtar woman wearing a blue headscarf with a brown cowboy hat on top of it and a brown leather jacket. End ID] (ID by @floralprintshark )
Dunkin from City of the Black Rose!! I've been catching up on 3bh and I'm actually not very aware of whats happening in City of the Black Rose but I like the vibes and I like the characters.
In the progress video you can see the moment Jasper started narrating about Dunkin's markings and i went 'not gonna draw those, too complicated' and changed his sleeves to long. I didn't quite capture his energy.
I imported a photo of my drawing and colored it with Ibis Paint X on my phone and this might be the coolest thing I've drawn in a while
[ID: Digital art of Dunkin, a short-furred black tabaxi with bright green eyes, standing against a dull, mint green wall. He is depicted from the thighs-up wearing brown trousers and a short-sleeved, bright purple button-up shirt with a dull grey and purple argyle sweater vest over top. Dunkin wears a neutral expression. His hands and wrists are wrapped. There is a small nick in his left ear. On the wall, his shadow moves forward with claws and tail extended, ready to attack. Hushi and their chickens. I love them.
[ID: a traditional drawing of Hushi from the podcast Outlaws & Obelisks. Hushi is an East Asian Goliath with pale skin, long, black hair, dressed in black robes and with one of their hands bandaged. They’re drawn from the hips upwards with their hands raised in front of them and a curious expression on their face. They have two chickens sitting on their hands, one on their shoulder and a small chick on top of their head. End ID](ID by @floralprintshark )
Mariam from Outlaws and Obelisks
[ID: a traditional drawing of Mariam from the podcast Outlaws & Obelisks. She is a black girl with a brown afro, dressed all in white. She looks down at her raised hands of which one holds a white feather and the other one a red, human heart. The background is colored in black. Above Mariam’s head the words “They weigh the same...” are written. End ID] (ID by @floralprintshark )
