It's strange that the card echoing The Lovers is what is leaving. Perhaps its meaning is that things won't happen just by wishing. I need to buckle down and embrace the work. It can't all be pleasure and laughter. I should appreciate what I have before setting my sights on more. Be grateful.
It might also be read in shadow, but that feels too optimistic.
