Releasing the first look into the recently built SARS-CoV-2 Resource Unit within BioChamber of the Virtual Laboratory Training and Career Center (VLTCC) on the Opensimulator-generated grid, Kitely. It houses the virtually created 3D model of SARS-CoV-2 with its human host cell; SARS-CoV-2 information; COVID-19 testing guidelines; and related lab advisories. The Unit serves as an informational portal for clinical laboratories, researchers, healthcare providers; and educators. After real life laboratory and training assignments caused a temporary delay for the scheduled MLPW opening of the virtual-based project, the nine-region VLTCC complex will be opened as part of the June celebration for its creator's 45th year as an ASCP-certified medical technologist. 🔬 Please note: The “Virtual Laboratory Training, Career Recruitment and Retention (VLTC) Project” is the real life to 3D immersive virtual worlds "Real to Virtual; Virtual to Real" (R2V2R) integration of clinical laboratory training; information sharing; and laboratory career development project by Sally S.
