Cult Leader Eligio Lee Bishop, also known as “Nature Boy” who is supposedly a self-proclaimed deity with a focus on polygamy, veganism and nudism, with allegations of financially controlling the members of his group “The Carbon Nation”, previously known as Melanation, has been arrested and charged on 5 counts including rape and false imprisonment. Statements have come forward that Bishop films himself during sexual intercourse with female members of the group and proceeded to weaponise this material when a member tried to leave - creating a case of revenge porn. One of the current members spoke out to media claiming that the release of this material was for sex education purposes. Bishop has since been denied bond and this isn’t the first time he has been arrested. In 2020, 21 members of Carbon Nation, Bishop included, were arrested in Hawaii for breaking Covid-19 restrictions.
