Day 7: Endings （╹◡╹）

(Honestly completely self-indulgent lmao)

Mercedes and Rozalia come together realizing that they can be each other’s shoulder to lean back on. They can heal each other’s wounds of the heart, softly and gently. They live together, opening an orphanage for children displaced from the war.

Rozalia proposes to Dimitri, refusing to let himself fall into a hole of self-deprecation. She vows to remain by his side through thick and thin, no matter what the world has in store for them. They promise to continue being each other’s reasons for waking up in the morning.
