While I don't have an indepth knowledge about tarot I'm already happier with the act 6 tarot. I own the Homestuck tarot because the art is very good, but to me it didn't do as well with matching the narrative to card meaning ect. at least with the major arcana. Again, that's just for me though;;

I am happy to enthuse about how fucking GOOD the Act 6 Tarot is, I really am (especially compared to the beautiful but horribly cast trainwreck of the official deck), but you should totally go direct this at the people who run the Act 6 Tarot, they deserve it.

The mechanic looked surprised (maybe too surprised?), “Sir, I just have your best interest in mind. I cannot, in good conscience, let you drive out of here knowing it could mean your untimely and potentially gruesome death!”

But something just didn’t seem right. Ryou couldn’t put his fingers on it, exactly, but it was… something. “You already convinced me to get a new set of tires, even though my car is only a year old - “

" - Best practice is to get them changed every year. Especially if there’s nothing wrong with them."

"And replace the entire engine."

"There were too many little problems with it, why not replace the whole thing?"

"And empty out the gas and add new gas."

"Why feed your car McDonald’s when you can give it Burger King?"

"And get a new paint job."

"This is a much better colour than the old one. In my humble opinion."

"Now you’re telling me to get another oil change." Ryou had always been one to ask the right questions before signing off on big expenses. And, this very moment, felt like the best time to be asking.

"Well, it’s black. I didn’t even know it was possible to let it get this black, even."

"Isn’t it supposed to be black?"

The mechanic whose name tag read “Tom Klaus Bowler” (one does not often see a full name on a name tag) thought for a moment before replying. “Yes and no. It’s supposed to be black but not, black black. It really does take a mechanic’s eye to tell the difference.”

Ryou sighed, “And you’re absolutely sure that if I don’t get it changed, my car will explode if I try to drive it?”

"I’ve seen it happen myself."

"Really?"

"Well I heard something similar might have happened to a customer of mine from a few years back."

"Oh." The numbers were really stacking up but Ryou didn’t really have much of a choice, did he?

"And since we like to take care of our customers, how about I throw in this dash ornament for half price? Practically a steal. The leaves even bounce in the sunlight!"

"Sure."

15. Snowball Fight!

There was a horrible moment when the snowball hit the window, and there was a crack. Less than a second later, a second snowball slammed into the side of the tower and it stuck.

Bucky and Steve were in the fort they had constructed, the solid fortification her next target. She had been analyzing its construction since she had been dragged into the fight late. Thor was under the pile of snowballs, probably arranging his next attack.

Natasha knew where Clint was, generally. He was lurking on the next level, snipping at the people below. She could trust him at the moment, but Clint was notorious for switching sides. For all she knew, he would try to help Thor in the next moment.

She used to be more sure of Bucky's help, but he seemed to be firmly in alliance with Steve at the moment. He would get like that in situations, which was annoying. They had both been dragged into the fight with an agreement that they would be allies. Apparently Steve's fort was sturdy enough to convince him otherwise.

Then again, it was a nice fort.

Natasha shifted, reaching up to brush the snow off the strangely sticking snowball. She frowned when she saw the stub of an arrow carefully hidden in the snow. Natasha yanked the arrow out of the side of the building, debating the arrow for a moment before standing up. 

The snowballs stopped flying for a moment as she stepped out of cover. Natasha held up the stub of arrow, before turning to glare at the next level. She couldn't see where Clint was, but he had broken the rules.

She tossed the broken arrow down, catching a glimpse of Bucky scrambling out from behind the fort. That was one volunteer, but she wouldn't be getting another. Thor was still digging his way out of the snow and Steve had wiggled out of the fort to start repairs. Still, two was more than enough.

Bucky hauled himself up behind her shelter, landing in a crouch. He barely gave her a glance, too busy watching the next level for signs of Clint. "What's the plan?"

"We corner the bird in his nest. Then we remind him that flying solo can be dangerous."

She thought she saw a smile on Bucky's face before he leaned over to prepared more snowballs for the assault.
