Ah, it was a reply to the post, okay. I thought you meant a direct message. I don't always see replies to the posts when I'm not online at the time but I'm happy you like it. It's not the whole collection of stuff, though, just the CDs. -Laughs.- And I wouldn't get angry because someone doesn't reply immediately or misses it. I just had an unnecessary argument with a fellow student the who snapped at me for stupid reasons and that's what my post was about.

hi darling. It's not so much discrimination as it is... a lot of other things, really. related to this post from a few minutes ago.

Things like this always put me through several stages of disbelieving anger, first at the issue itself, then at the forces behind the issue, and finally at the way people are reacting to it all. Step 1: Get furious at Isayama. Step 2: Rage about Japanese politicians and government being fuckwads. Step 3: Rage about war crimes and other crimes against humanity in general. Step 4: See reactions from people online and rage at them for responding like complete idiots. Step 5: Curl up in a foetal position and marinate in my hate for humankind in general.

This stings especially so because I genuinely enjoyed Shingeki no Kyojin, but to know that such a military-based series was created by a person who feels that way about war crimes is indescribably awful; I feel like I have filth on me that will never wash off. I can't quite find the words to explain how nasty it feels to have enjoyed, to have relished spectating a fictional war waged by a man who thinks that way, almost as though I have unknowingly enjoyed the same war he believes was justified.

I think I've never come this close to truly understanding the hatred my grandfather feels for the Japanese military.
