In what ways do you think social networking helps you better connect with the world around you? Give at least three specific examples.

Social networking helps us better connect with the world around us by showing us how our country and other countries may have things in common. Social media can also help us share about our own culture and tradition, this way, people around us can know more about us, and about our past. For example on Instagram, we can post pictures of our traditional food and with the recipe too, this way people around us can know about us more, and vice versa. In twitter, we can share what is happening in our world. Like for example the Flag day, or national day. And same thing for other countries, they can tweet about whatever celebration they are having.

Read chapter 127 (pages 79-83) to yourself. Then write down what happened when Christopher fought with his father in the book. Why did he respond the way he did? How did his father respond after their fight? What do these things tell us about the relationship that Christopher has with his father?

What happened was that Father warned Christopher so many times not to go around and ask questions about wellington to anyone. But Christopher didn’t go with what his father had told him, and continued what was he doing. While he was going around and doing this “Adventure,” He was writing about it in his book where he was trying to find the one who killed wellington. His father came home from work one day and found the book Christopher was writing in. Father then yelled at Christopher and due to him having anger issues, he kind of hit him, which made them both have some sort of physical fight. Christopher hit his father because he didn’t like it when someone would touch him the way his dad did. And for Father to show Christopher how sorry he was, he took him to the Zoo and gave Christopher his Favorite foo. This shows how much Father cares for, and loves Christopher. And that the Father-son relationship they have is strong.

1. social media brings us closer to the people who are far away from us and keeps us close to whats happening away from us.

2.social media helps us share hope and encourage people to follow their dreams and also share ideas that might help our world to be a better place.

3.Social media makes it easier for companies to advertise their company and  it also gives attention to people to show off their efforts and what they are capable to do.

How Christopher feels about the world around him

"I think I would make a very good astronaut. To be a good astronaut you have to be intelligent and I’m intelligent. You also have to understand how machines work and I’m good at understanding how machines work. You also have to be someone who would like being on their own in a tiny space-craft thousands and thousands of miles away…" Christopher wants to be an astronaut because he thinks that it would isolate him from the outside world and that he would be in space all the time and that being an astronaut means that you're intelligent and strong enough to handle things like going to space

I think this song represents adversity because the singers were bullied because they were nerds and they liked this popular boy who didn't like them back. His girlfriend kept bulling them because they were nerds so they decided to make a love potion and called black magic this potion made them popular and made all the boys like them and the boy they liked's girlfriend unpopular

I think this song represents overcoming adversity since it’s saying that no matter what you’re going through or whatever sickness you’ve got it doesn’t mean your worth is less than anyone else. It just makes you different and you should embrace it even if it’s a struggle or an obstacle. You should try your best and go through the hardest routes to get over this obstacle to get what you want and live the life you desire.

How Christopher feels about the world around him

“..people who believe in God think God has put human beings on the earth because they think human beings are the best animal, but human beings are just an animal and they will evolve into another animal, and that animal will be cleverer and it will put human beings into a zoo, like we put chimpanzees and gorillas into a zoo. Or human beings will all catch a disease and die out or they will make too much pollution and kill themselves, and then there will only be insects in the world and they will be the best animal.”

Christopher thinks humans are just like animals, and that someday an animal cleverer than humans will come and put humans in a zoo just like humans did to other animals. Basically, he’s saying that one day humans will be treated the same way we’re treating animals right now. And if anything happens to humans and they die there will only be insects and they’ll be the best animals, replacing humans.

Christopher's fight with Father

In chapter 127 Christopher’s father reads Christopher’s book, and he gets really angry at Christopher because he found out the he had a conversation with Ms. Alexander about Mr. Shears. Christopher’s father started yelling at Christopher because he clearly asked him to not mention Mr. Shears, and to not stick his nose into other peoples’ business. He starts asking him about the rules he asked him to abide by while Christopher struggled to know if his father was really mad at him. Eventually Christopher’s father grabs Christopher from his shirt and as a response to that Christopher hits his father back. The reason behind that is Christopher doesn’t like being touched, and also he couldn’t really process all the information.

After the fight his father went out and threw Christopher’s book in the dustbin, locked the door and hid the key. The next day his father took him to the zoo and made him a sandwich as an apology because he didn’t mean to hit Christopher. He also made sure that the zoo wasn’t crowded so that Christopher could enjoy his time there. And he also told Christopher how much he loves him and how he was sorry and he didn’t mean to hit him.

This situation shows us that yes, father got really mad at Christopher and he couldn’t control himself as he did hit Christopher. But it shows that his father loves him and is trying his best to deal with Christopher’s condition but doesn’t understand every aspect of it. Overall, his father cares and loves him so much as he apologized and took him to the zoo and reassured him that he didn’t mean to hit him.
