tadaa! 31 squares for fruchtdrop’s 3x3thumbsup challenge! for extra fun, i gave myself prompts using a random word generator and related them to DN.

and now for some personal rambles! ( ˵ •́ o •̀ ˵ )

I like the final result even if not all ended up how I wanted. Sometimes I used my favorite paint colors. Sometimes my least favorites. Sometimes panel redraws, photo references, or just whimsical doodles.

I’ve been terribly tired lately and often don’t feel like I have the energy to draw or paint the things I want after work and life. I always want to try new techniques and styles, but those require even more time. So ideas piled up and I moved further and further from my goal to create faster…

But a tiny square a day? That was feasible, right? (Okay, other days had like 5 squares because I might have fallen behind~) And usually once my supplies were out, I’d work on another thing too.

All this to say it was a good experience, I’m happy to finish it, and I hope to finish more soon!
