okay this is one of my favorite ideas, so I’m going to ramble.

I like Five’s powers they can be used in so many ways, and there are tons of fics to prove that but I absolutely love the idea that we don’t know all about them or they could have grown in a different way.

Five is a very interesting person, because he tends to focus on a single aspect of his powers, namely how far he can push his spatial jumps and then if he could time travel. Reginald only furthered this mindset through training, missions, all that fun stuff.

but the idea that he saw how time travel works and learned that it wasn’t as straightforward and became more open minded to new alternatives to his powers? I love it.

and with the fact that Five is a kid again growing up without being under Reginald’s thumb? perfect opportunity for his powers to grow or for him to become aware of newer ones.

one of my personal favorite ideas is a mix of the powers we know Five has. If we mix the theory that he can plant himself and others in an alternate universe and his spatial jumping ability, there are so many possibilities. As we know that there are ghosts and an entire realm past the veil, it starts to get really interesting. I think you can see where I’m going with this.

Five starts taking more time studying what his powers look like rather than do and discovering billions of layers within the rifts leading to a multitude of opportunities? An amazing concept.

he pulls apart the layers and decides to jump through one, hoping to land by the bar and see where that takes him. He startles Klaus who ends up chucking something at him, only for it to soar through his head. Klaus panics because ‘oh no, five’s dead!’ and Five is fascinated by the new ability.

Ben appears and tackles Five, clobbering him with the first hug he’s had in over forty five years because he’s already dead, it’s not like Five could kill him. Five, of course, panics and falls through the portal he initially went through. He intends to lands on the couch, and he just barely makes it because something adjusted his jump.

then he notices the warm feeling of arms still wrapped around him and he initially thinks he failed the jump until Klaus catapults himself over the couch and crashed into Ben and Five, squeezing the living daylights of of them. Eventually Five squirms out of their hold, still very unused to being touched.

and Ben stands there in all of his glory, seventeen and grinning like a fool, touching anything in sight because he can finally touch it, he is able to actually feel it.

five would be klaus’s biggest supporter in fashion choices, no joke. That skirt with that top? I wore that in the apocalypse, and you are 100% correct it was incredibly freeing. these high heels? Not his first choice, but a good weapon in case of emergency. Glittery makeup? it looks fascinating in the fairy lights in his room and gives off the coolest effect. Holy jeans? Those are just extra pockets and places to clip pens. Sequins? s h i n y.
