Not mysme or anyrhing but I finally took a break from my finals to treat myself and watch Infinity War and now I hate literally every single thing on this planet

Reminder going into Ray's route:

Hi, friendly reminder from someone who has mental illnesses:

They aren’t cute. They aren’t meant to be sexual. They aren’t fun to have. They aren’t meant to be seen romantically.

They’re chemical imbalances in our brains that, while yeah we can tell that we’re in the wrong, we can’t think of any other way to do things.

A lot of mental illnesses stem from not only these chemical imbalances but possibly achieved through trauma from bad experiences and in Saeran’s case, probably abuse and drug abuse (elixir, for example. This isn’t spoilers. We all knew this before).

Having a headcanon that a character has a kink- great! Go ahead! I’ve got them too! Gives them some flare! Some sexy spice! Nsfw for the win!

Turning them into nothing but the kink and lusting over things that they’re doing that is completely unhealthy for not only the MC but for the character (i.e. Saeran)- not okay. Please don’t do that.

Yes, Saeran is great. The idea of having some kinky sex with him is great. I think about it a lot. Fuck- I’ve written about it for Christ’s sake.

What is not great is ignoring the fact that he is very unhealthy and needs some soft, stable support to get healthy and work through his problems before getting truly intimate with a person.

This is a repeat of my “what she says vs what she means” Post. I’ll probably get hate for it like I got hate on that one.

“Let people hc what they want” “People can enjoy whatever they want” “Four why don’t you get over it, it’s just a game”.

I’m not saying they can’t. I’m very aware it’s a game.

I’m just saying that I love this boy with all of my heart and identifying with his character helped me in millions of different ways both with my mental health and escaping reality in general, so seeing his unhealthy state of mind and irrational actions being sexualize honestly is upsetting and I know it’s not just me. I’ve never ONCE met a character I’ve been able to associate myself with not only personality wise, but mental health issue wise as well. I want to hold onto that.

He’s got issues. I’ve got some of my own. I’m sure some of you have some of your own. I highly doubt people want their mental health issues seen as a kink and therefore not being taken seriously by others.

But maybe I’m wrong.
