Day 6/40 #40daysofproductivity

Last 2 days have been exciting. I applied fot internship and got shortlisted for an interview. If selected in final round I will get to go to Japan which is kinda exciting. So I have been busy preparing for interview. Lot to work on now as the final round is going to be about my tech skills. I will be applying for webD and programming.

So today I started solving PDE's,more specifically the heat equation. Also read few pages of "The Sellout". Attended few lectures and learned a bit about filters in seepage control in Soil Mechanics.

I finally think I am making a little progress,one step at a time. So yayyyy!

Studied for about 5hr 15mins today but for some reason I feel like I wasn't productive much. I mean, I couldn't focus on what I was doing for some reason and the day slipped away, you know.

One good thing was, dad was in a pretty good mood so he decided to get his culinary skills out from the closet and made not one, but two kinds of soups! (Instant soups😂) when I asked why he made both, he said that he couldn't decide which one had a prettier packaging, so he gave both of them a chance. Oh dad....

Day 2/40

I hate runny nose!! I've been carrying tissues the whole day and I looked crap. I just got freshened up because I started to feel sleepy. I was home the whole day. So that was nice.

I studied for approx 5 hours. Not bad really. I was planning to study more but it's dinner time and I don't mess with it. I used my phone for four and half hours ( yikes!) again.

Anyways, I learnt Sanskrit in the morning and then I wrote one question set of geography and one of history. That took most of my time to be frank. and yes, I write all my notes and answers even though I have it in print format because for some reason, my brain just doesn't register it.

Also, I just got a text that I have continuous lectures from 8am to 2pm tomorrow and I am still sick. I don't know if I'll survive or faint in the middle of the lecture. Hehe😅

Day 4/40

Today was mindfully productive. I forced myself to go out of the house and it's was great. For the first time in so long, I was wandering without purpose. I called the people I missed and made them sure that I love them and appreciate them. Weather was fine too. I spent some time in bonding with my sister.

Sometimes, it is these little things which makes you happy and gives a sense of accomplishment. As far studying for the finals goes, I only did like an hour of reading, which I am not super proud of. But I mean, it's something, isn't it?
