!llmind Gets Hacked - Hackers Drop a Skyzoo Remix EP
<a href="http://42ghosts.bandcamp.com/album/because-fuck-you" data-mce-href="http://42ghosts.bandcamp.com/album/because-fuck-you">BECAUSE FUCK YOU by 42Ghosts vs SKYZOO</a>
Fuck hackers right? I don't mean the "cool" Angelina Jolie, Jonny Lee Miller hackers that are making political statements through their intimate knowledge of the internets. No, I'm talking about the dicks who screw with your personal life - your email, twitter, facebook, whatever. Fuck those guys.
Enter 42Ghosts. A group of hackers (and apparently beatsmiths) that successfully breached producer !llmind's life, sent some tweets, messed with his Facebook (see below), and left him with an email (below, below).
They took the man's BLAP kits. His motherfuckin' BLAP kits. And then you know what they did, they went and flipped some Skyzoo acapellas into a 4-track Skyzoo remix EP, aptly titled Because Fuck You - using !llmind's own production kits. The best part is, this EP is fire - even !llmind said so. He ain't even mad.
At this point, I'm more intrigued than mad. Thus, the reason for this blog post. This is by far one of the most bizarre things that's ever happened to me. But this "42Ghosts" EP is the SHIT. I wonder who these guys are. Whoever they are, I need to get a hold of them.
So like the mind himself, I went and did some research on these hacker cats, and well there isn't much to find. In fact, in one of the members (if there are even multiple people behind this) told Pigeons and Planes, "There isn't much to say". Interestingly enough, I did find their dope soundcloud, which has another set on it - a Death Grips remix EP. Definitely worth checking out.
In my book, these dudes are just as cool as Jonny Lee Miller and his gang of 90's hacker punks (note, Angelina Jolie with the Vulcan-inspired hairdo)
!llmind's Official Twitter & Facebook Pages Hacked. BLAP KITS & Vocal Stems Stolen
So this past WED. I got hacked by a group (or person) who call(s) themselves "42Ghosts". Apparently it happened for a few hours, and they made multiple tweets. I found out about it by multiple people texting me, saying "dude, I think you got hacked". Of course I immediately jumped on the computer to resolve the situation, and went on to do some research on these f*cks. Thankfully, they didn't change any of my passwords or alter any of my personal information (which i've since changed, obviously). Here's where It got weird. I received an email later that evening, basically saying that they (42 Ghosts) gained access and stole ALL of my Blap Kits . They also stole some "goodies", and included this link: http://bit.ly/WKnARW
The link takes me to a soundcloud page, with an EP of Skyzoo remixes (acapellas that are DEFINITELY not available anywhere. "Speakers On Blast" being one of them). As i'm listening and knodding my head, my mind is somewhere between pissed as f*ck, and intrigued as hell. These dudes successfully hacked my sh*t, stole some stuff, and made a remix EP with stolen BLAP KITS and Skyzoo acapellas out of it all. That was the motive. To create music. Music that apparently inspired them enough to go out of their way to accomplish what they wanted to. At this point, I'm more intrigued than mad. Thus, the reason for this blog post. This is by far one of the most bizarre things that's ever happened to me. But this "42Ghosts" EP is the SHIT! I wonder who these guys are. Whoever they are, I need to get a hold of them. Check it out for yourself --> http://bit.ly/WKnARW
