My parents just celebrated the 45th anniversary of their first date. I could make a comment here of “how she puts up with him no one knows!” Or other laugh inducing one liner, but the reality of it is: I’m so happy for them. I know that it doesn’t last for everyone. I know they both have flaws. But my beautiful parents, my role models, my sounding boards, my grounding force: I cannot express how happy I am that you are mine.
