SCP-4613

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4613 is to be kept in a standard sized Foundation room at site [REDACTED], with the standard furnishings. No glass or other related materials are allowed within 60 feet of SCP-4613’s room. After Incident 4613-B items must be carefully checked to ensure no glass or sand particles are present if they are brought within the radius of 4913’s containment.

Note: If SCP-4613 requests medical attention, he is to be ignored unless there is special cause for concern.

Description: SCP-4613 is a male human in his mid twenties, currently confined to a wheelchair. Subject is tall and almost unhealthily slim, but due to his biology it is unknown if this is because of his metabolism or his anomalous aspects. Subject has refuses to comment about the topic either way. At first glance, there is nothing outwardly anomalous about SCP-4613, but upon closer inspection the subjects skin has begun to take on a different texture, coarser and with less give than normal skin. Samples can only be obtained with permission by the Site supervisor.

SCP-4613 has the ability to control sand within a 20 foot radius of his body at any given time, and in times of concentration or stress has been able to push the radius as far as 60 feet. Additionally, 4613 has shown the ability to shatter glass objects, such as windows. Doing this appears to tire the subject but he has used this ability to escape containment on at least two occasions. Possibly due to these abilities, SCP-4613’s internal organs have begun to break down, leaving sand to build up inside subjects body. SCP-4613 is wheelchair bound due to the near constant pain his anomalous condition causes him. On site medical personnel have so far concluded that this is so far not fatal, but continued tests are required the further his insides deteriorate.

Subject is extremely uncooperative, and has attempted to escape Foundation custody on several occasions, causing injury to himself and others. Below is notable incidents involving SCP-4613’s escape attempts.

Escape Attempt 1: SCP-4613 shattered the glass window to his cell, injuring the guard and tiring himself. Due to the fatigue, he was quickly recaptured and placed in a new cell without any glass windows.

Escape Attempt 6: SCP-4613 shattered a small object made of glass to use as an improvised weapon, injuring guards and escaping into the facility. Unfortunately for SCP-4613 it attempted to avoid pursuing personnel by hiding in another containment unit, in this case the containment unit of SCP-682. 682 almost immediately broke containment itself, with 4613 attempting to defend himself while screaming expletives at 682. 682 was unharmed by 4613, but appeared almost amused by his insults. 682 proceeded to pin 4613 to the ground and “pretend” to injure the subject, with a sound similar to other recorded cases of “laughter” coming from 682. After 682 was re-contained, with [REDACTED] being utilized, SCP-4613 was easily taken back into containment and remained noticeably quieter and less hostile for several weeks after.

*Note: Insinuations that this break out was caused by Foundation personnel to lure 4613 into 682’s containment unit are to be ignored.

Escape Attempt 7: SCP-4613 escaped containment by using a small amount of sand he had built up using [DATA EXPUNGED]. During the escape, 4613 was injured and contained, but managed to use his accumulated sand to heal the wound and continue his escape. However, as he no longer had his sand to use in his escape, he was quickly subdued.

*Note: Subsequent escape attempts are NOT to be met with excessive force. The use of sand to heal SCP-4613’s own injuries is to be used only in emergency, as it may exacerbate his condition, which may require different containment procedures and a reclassification of Object Class in a worst case scenario.

When SCP-4613 was asked where his anomalous abilities came from, SCP-4613 responded with the following: “Go [REDACTED] a [EXPLETATIVE REMOVED].” Subsequent interviews have yielded similar results.
