I know summer is like REALLY over, but I had this idea that I really like! So basically, it's a beach day with Junko Enoshima and a male reader. Except the male reader is wearing a really baggy hoodie because he's insecure about his body, especially next to someone as hot as Junko. Junko had informed you that you were going to the beach like 30 minutes before you actually went so it's not like you had a chance to not go. You had a feeling she wouldn't have allowed you to refuse anyway but you would have appreciated some time to mentally prepare yourself

A/n: I wasn't entirely sure how to write non-despair Junko, so I just based it off of Mukuro pretending to be her in the first chapter of the game. Thank you for requesting, I hope you enjoy!

Even before you started dating Junko, you were well of her, let's say, avid fanbase. As the Ultimate Fashionista, it came as no surprise to anyone that she had millions of faithful followers that would do anything for her. What did come as a surprise, however, is when Junko, the woman they'd practically praised as a goddess and devoted their lives to, started dating you.

Granted, you were by no means a bad choice for a partner, but compared to Junko, they saw you as nothing more than an insect, a mere obstacle in the way of the infatuation they held for their idol. At first, it started off relatively normal, with the most you had to deal with being a few comments ignoring your existence whenever she posted a picture of the two you together.

Then, when they realised you were more than a short-term fling, they started getting serious. Any time you went to one of Junko's posts to show your support for your love, you saw each of her photos were flooded with comments about you, even if they didn't include you. As one can guess, very few of them were positive.

"Your beauty is wasted on a normie like them. You should be with me instead!"

"I can treat you better than they can, Junko!"

"I'd do anythimg to be with you!"

Some talked about how generous Junko was to date someone like you, others even mentioned killing you just to be with her. If that weren't bad enough, she'd occasionally evwn get hit on in the streets, sometimes while you're right next to her.

Of course, Junko always turns them down, insisting that she's very happy with you. She even hired someone to manage her social media accounts and block anyone that threatens you. Despite her best efforts, though, when one roach dies, there's a whole swarm to take its place.

Over time, these comments start to wear on your psyche. Where at first you were excited to support Junko at all of her photo shoots, now you can barely bring yourself to go on a date with your girlfriend, only being able to think about all the people that would hit on her while you're out.

However, by missing out on so much time with Junko, it only gave all those comments made about you more credibility. Maybe they were right. Maybe they would be a better partner for Junko. Maybe she should just break up with you.

Despite your best efforts to refuse, Junko eventually manages to drag you into going on a date with her. There are few people on this Earth that can resist Junko's natural charms, and her darling partner most certainly isn't one of them.

As the two of you take a stroll, Junko clinging to your arm as usual, your nerves ease up over time. Maybe it's the smell of the fresh air, or the way your girlfriend lovingly nuzzles into your arm, but your worries of her leaving you start to fade.

Junko notices something up ahead and bpunds forward, pointing you towards a bar with a wide smile. While most would expect a supermodel like Junko to prefer a more stylish setting for her dates, her impulsive attitude often led you both to much more...impromptu locations, to say the least.

With the promise of lots of affection and your choice of food, you reluctantly let her pull you inside. You ask her to find a table for you two while you go to the bathroom to wash up. As you wash your hands and give your face a quick splash, the last of your tension leaves your body. Maybe you were just overthinking it. Maybe Junko never even thought of leaving you. Maybe she really does love you.

Unfortunately, your previous anxiety returns with a vengeance upon exiting the bathroom.

A sleazy-looking guy, the type you'd expect to find in a seedy place like this, has his arm wrapped around Junko's neck, clearly trying to chat her up as her expression is hidden from you. You should've known better than to think you ever deserved someone as beautiful as her.

Watching you leave the bar as you hang your head, Junko quickly pushes the man aside to get up and follow you. As the man tries to reach for her, Junko grabs his wrist, and though her smile seems sweet and innocent, her eyes glaring daggers at him and her nails digging into his skin hold nothing but resentment.

"Sorry, but I'm not interested in some creepo who doesn't take no for an answer. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got a date with someone I don't consider a total waste of air. Catch you never, 'kay?"

Junko skips out of the bar, leaving the man completely dumbfounded. She looks around, and soon finds you walkimg down the street. As you're lost in your thoughts, you feel a familiar pair f arms wrap around your neck...and a familiar chest press against your back.

"Hey, babe. Where're you runnin' off to?"

"O-Oh, I...I just thought...with the way that guy was acting around you...you'd rather be with him."

"Huh? You really think I'd want a creep like him?"

"W-Well, not him specifically, just...someone other than me."

"What makes you think I want someone else?"

"I...I just-"

You're cut off by the roar of an engine speeding down the street. You recognize the car as one of Junko's limos, and as you look into the front window, you recognize the driver as well.

"Is that...Mukuro?"

"Yup! I had her drive over as soon as I saw you walking away...and maybe told her to go a teensy bit over the speed limit."

"...Why is it that hearing that only makes me love you more?"

"Because it's one of the reasons I love you, cutie."

Your face blushes a light red. With how much your insecurities had gotten to you recently, you'd almost forgotten what Junko herself thought of you. She loves you. By the time you recover from her comment, she's already pulled you into the back of the limo, with Mukuro driving away from the crowd that starts to swarm towards it.

"So, tell me what's been going on with you."

"I-It's nothing, really."

"Babe, I know a lot of my fans think I'm just some brainless bimbo, but I at least hope my own partner doesn't see me that way."

You let out a sigh. You knew Junko would find out what you've been hiding eventually, you just hoped it wouldn't happen so soon. While most people assume Junko to be a total airhead based solely on her talent, she actually has some innate analytical skills, ones that she normally uses to predict trends in fashion, but on occasion to deduce when you're hiding something from her.

"It's just...I've been feeling a little...out of my depth, I guess. I mean, compared to you, I'm basically a nobody, and-"

Before you can go on, Junko cuts you off with a kiss to the lips. This is another side to Junko's erratic behaviour, albeit one you prefer much more. As you kiss, She pulls you down to lie on top of her on one of the sofas in the limo. After a few more seconds, she pulls back to let you get some air, a slight smudge of her lipstick is lft on your lips.

"From now on, I don't want you thinking thatway about yourself. And if you ever try to tell me you don't deserve me again, then I'll just keep kissing you until you understand how much I love you, 'kay?"

"Then what if I just keep insulting myself to get more kisses from you?"

"In that case, I'll have to find another solution."

"Like wha-"

Your girlfriend cuts you off once more, this time by stuffing your head into her chest. While you struggle at first, you soon relax against the soft feeling of your favourite "pillows". Junko gently scratches your head, her nails are just the right length to give your scalp the perfect massage and soothe your worries for good.

As she notices you've fallen asleep in her arms, Junko gives a small smile and signals for Mukuro to drive you both home. Junko looks down at you, so soft and vulnerable in her arms, and gets a slightly mischievous idea. She's already put on one of her more expensive lipsticks, so she may as well use it for something. After all, what better way to show you how much she loves you than a few extra kiss marks for when you wake up?

mikan doesn't mind letting junko make all the decisions in the relationship! after all, she still gets to be with you and junko actually makes a bit of an effort to have some equality in the relationship!
