It’s good to be back.

I was back when The Rising started. But before I got my PC, I went over for a visit and hijacked my brother’s PC to rush the Go Go Posing Rangers’ quests and got what I wanted!

Then, during the weekend, I went to a few roulettes with my FC. Ravana was so difficult...wiped once because we had too many swords on the floor....LOL. We had too many deaths and too many people ignoring the adds to make enough damage. Corn (SMN) said during the cast of Ravana’s ultimate attack “not enough DPS, too much laughing” because we were laughing at the people who kept dying left and right or running in front of main tank and getting cleaved. And then on the 2nd attempt, my tank friend auto-run off the edge in the middle of the fight LOL! Was a tough time because DRK who tanked next couldn’t hold enmity and Ravana kept hitting me until my Shrouds of Saint’s cooldown finished. ><;; We won, though.

Then, on Sunday we went for some Aquapolis treasure hunting. Managed to get to 7th room, eventually! This was the 2nd time we’ve ever reached the last room.

@risottogun just told me he recently discovered from a friend that we can use /doze emote on the Oriental Deck. So I had to!

Spent all day yesterday gathering mats, crafting and arranging outdoor furnishings on our FC house’s lawn.

@kokorobox (Dew) made the layout for our new Japanese garden and I’m very pleased with the result.

I didn’t have the Carpenter’s stats to make Oriental Bridge (the damn thing needs 850 craftsmanship and 820 control, if I remember correctly), so I had to ask Riot @risottogun to help. Thanks a lot, buddy!

One of our party members (someone we don’t know) was locked out of Xande’s room because he or she was straying behind and was in a cutscene, but the other party’s tank immediately engaged boss (HATE THIS!). So this straggler decided to go AFK. After the win, we had to sit around to wait for the loots to drop because the person wasn’t back yet.

Surprisingly, no one complaint or yelled (including our people, lol) and Corn immediately sat down, then Dew joined, and I followed. Kuji was being a weirdo who had no idea what was going on. I didn’t tell him to move because the composition was already good.

Was a rare opportunity where I had a leisure to take some group pics without pulling my hair out because someone ruins the pic. :D

Last night and today I made a few major changes to the ground floor of my FC House. I had to move stuff a lot to accommodate the Orchestrion as well as to improve the aesthetic. Lord Tonton’s corner is no more cluttered up. :) With all his tireless, endless blessings and aids to our Disciples of the Hand’s endeavor, he deserves this improvement, and some good music. 

New things: - Orchestrion  - Unending Journal - Crystal Bell - 1 additional Tatami mat

Changes: - Bathroom sliding door is moved to the other side. - Lord Tonton’s altar and offering table is moved to the adjacent wall.  - Armoire is now with the vendors, in the counter area. - FC chest replaced the Armoire’s spot. - Hot tub is tilted to fit the other corner of the bathroom instead. - The waterfall thingie is moved to make room for the door/entrance and the Crystal Bell.

I hoard stuff. Primary materials and secondary materials alike. But with Heavensward’s materials, it is better to make secondary mats out of my gathered raw mats, because, for example, 5 logs turn into 1 lumber and 5 ores or sands turn into 1 nugget. So it is more space-effective to store an item as secondary materials instead of raw/primary materials.

Since many of the important mats are from timed nodes, it is best to gather a bunch of them over long period of time and either slowly craft them or mass-craft them in one sitting when they form a full stack.

I keep them in our FC chest for convenience. So that whenever I’m not around to offer my service as a “Walmart” my FC friends can still retrieve the materials. I also hoard the mats mainly with a goal to allow easy, hassle-free access to blue scrips and red scrips. Having those mats at a convenient disposal is a huge plus.

Still, whenever I or anyone withdrew, like, say, 45 Adamantite nuggets for 15 attempts at a scrip turn-in recipe that uses 3 nuggets, I weep quietly because my kokoro hurts.  XD  I didn’t feel it this much until I realized 99 adamantite nuggets equal 495 adamantite ores and 99 darksteel ores. OUCH.

I’ve always thought it was ridiculous that in order to make 1 lumber, we need to spend 3 logs. Now, for Heavensward, we need 5 logs!? //cry //grovel

DoH people really do have it rough. Imagine how much they would have to spend if they don’t do DoL. 

To me, as a DoL, my red scrips and blue scrips literally grow from earth and on the trees. DoH, on the other hand, need to spend a fortune to earn their scrips.

Poor thing. :(
