So... Guess who is sleeping with ALL of the animals tonight in our very strictly no animal bedroom? (Because we both suffer from allergies to animal dander so we try to keep it off our beds and pillows otherwise it makes us sick 😣) We are currently experiencing a severe thunderstorm and both dogs are afraid of storms and cry in their beds if they aren't with us, the cats are here because the dogs are here and they sat outside the bedroom door crying and meowing as loud as possible in order to get in. And while this definitely will affect my sleep, I'm just glad all our babies feel safe with us when they're scared. Also, seeing Jake react the way he did and love on and cuddle and make them feel secure and safe in our room with us gives me flashes of what parenting with him will be like and it's making my heart stupid giddy.
