“This is my 4gh OC that I’m submitting anonymously for ‘I am very shy’ reasons. Their name is Alloyzenthia ‘Zinny’ Lohsttymessnivarfownd (Lost time is never found), or Mx Lohsttymessnivarfownd to students. They use they / them pronouns, they’re 56, and they work as an English Lit teacher at 4th Gate High.

They believe strongly in two things: alliteration, and the inherent power stickers have over students, regardless of said student’s age. They get through sticker books like hot cakes, so they must be doing something right. 

In their home life, Zinny lives with two partners, and three children. They’ve collected rubber ducks since the age of 5, and they’re littered about their house (+ classroom) like bread crumbs after Hansel and Gretel. They’re a published poet, and they’ve penned a few successful children’s novels under a psuedonym. They’re somewhat disorganized and a little eccentric, but passionate about their job. Their main defining trait is a fiery determination to never give up on a child, even if everyone else has. Zinny has also gotten it into their head that a student calling them ‘Mom’ is worth more than their teaching degree in how qualified it makes them.

feel free to ignore this if it's too spoilery, but what's elle's deal in 4gh?

i do plan on working on 4gh eventually, but considering it’s been literal years since the last update i can spoil it here if you’re curious and don’t want to wait for what may actually be an eternity

spoilers for my webcomic 4th gate high (major spoilers for stuff not even in the comic yet) under the cut

Shaa and Elle are in their senior year, they met in grade nine, and Shaa had a massive crush on her immediately. Elle liked Shaa too but due to her family being pretty anti-demon, as well as her own shyness and very busy schedule (she’s a massive overachiever taking all advanced classes) they couldn’t really make it work until grade 11, when they started dating in secret.

They dated all through grade 11, and it was pretty intense and troubled. They both really cared about each-other but Shaa is a really romanced focused, co-dependent person, and Elle is fairly emotionally reserved and always had other priorities and goals. Before the summer of senior year, Shaa proposed to her, which was kind of the straw that broke the camels back in a relationship that had always been a bit too emotionally intense for Elle. So she broke it off.

Shaa spent the rest of the summer deeply depressed and basically texting her non-stop, going between trying to just be friends and trying to win her back constantly.

Henzi and Selkas know about the situation, and Henzi is just sympathetic towards everyone involved because it’s such a mess. Whereas Selkas knows it’s not Elle’s fault, but still never really forgave Elle for keeping her relationship with his best friend a secret then breaking their heart, so he’s trying to show support in his own way by being all “you’re too good for her anyway”

yeah anyway it’s a mess -_- as are many high school relationships

Yeah for sure! I still have hopes to work more on it. I have a few pages I really want to finish :)
