He had not seen her for two months. The yearning and pining for his lover was greater than usual, to a point he was thinking about marriage more prominently, just in case he returned back to find she was hooked up with another fella, a fella whose job didn’t mean he had to go on tours around the world. A fella with an office job, a fella who could be with her in a stable way. Frank Sinatra was not that fella.
He had been on tour for two months, travelling around the world and singing to different audiences, that by the time he was finally on the way home to see Ana, he was more excited than ever. He was bouncing on his toes. When the private plane landed, he had agreed to meet her just as he would come off and enter firm American soil again.
Unfortunately, being a rather cold January, it seemed the weather also was bringing on a storm. It was raining violently, and the wind was whistling like a blizzard. His coat was buttoned up, long black trench coat, and his fedora on his head, with his bright blue eyes peeking out for the sight of her as he walked down the steps onto the runway. Then he saw her. His dame. He couldn’t have cared less at that moment. He went to her at such speed, and didn’t even greet her with a _hello _at first, but instead dropped his bags by their feet, and embraced her for a kiss in the rain. He sure had missed this broad.
