Stopped in and surprised my mom today! It’s very hard to see someone you love being robbed of their mind and body from the ugly demon Alzheimer’s. I left today wondering if the next time I visit my mom will she know who I am? When I was a child the running joke was my mom always called me and my brothers by the wrong name…now I’m just glad she remembers my face. I’m trying to prepare myself for the day that she won’t and that day WHICH IS COMING truly breaks my heart. We don’t know how long we have on this world so we must make every day the best we have…because tomorrow may never come. I am thankful to have a wonderful husband @polatteu to love me and make the days I am still on the world meaningful. At the end of the day…that is all we have LOVE. Do one thing for me TODAY hug someone you love and TELL them you love them! Stay safe, stay healthy, and love the ones you love. Life is WAY TOO short!
