Brimming with life and intensity, sapphire looked around the room. Their colors swirled together like the waves of the ocean, mixing with the light blue of the sky and the inky blue of the sea’s depths.

Such beauty..

Dazai bit his lip. 

Only he should be allowed to see.

Picking up silverware, Dazai entered.

“Ne, Chuuya.”

Azure widened at the sound of approaching footsteps. Metal flashed in the sunlight, adding a sense of danger to the already tense atmosphere.

“One look at you and people will fall in love.”

Blood trickled down Dazai’s cheek as he ran the blade against his skin.

“That’s too dangerous…”

Leaning forward, the brunet tilted Chuuya’s chin up.

“What if you leave me?”

Amber flashed blood red under the darkening afternoon rays. Muted blue quivered under the drug’s influence in response.

His voice lowered to a barely audible noise.

“…what if you don’t come back?”

Lowering his head, Dazai smiled and pulled back his hand.

“So I’ll be taking these.”

A spoon trailed up the executive’s cheek, stopping right below his lower eyelid and slowly dug into his flesh.

“This is for the best, you see.”

Scarlet stained the silver surface with the increasing pressure of metal pressing harder than before.  

“You understand, right?”

Brushing aside soft hair, he whispered against Chuuya’s ear as a gagged scream pierced the air.

“Right?”
