Mighty Nein animated is almost here!!! I didn't feel like colouring this drawing before, but it felt right to finally do that for this occasion. Also I don't think a lot of people noticed that their heads form a nine before, so I made it really obvious this time lol

One thing I hate about the modern abortion discourse is that it necessitates women sharing some of the worst moments of their lives to prove that there are "moral" abortions. Women with planned, wanted pregnancies learning the fetus they carried was dead or dying; women who would themselves die if they carried their pregnancies to term (there are usually other children and a husband trotted out for these stories, because, well, just a woman's life in the balance wouldn't be compelling enough now would it?); now-adult women pointing out the horror of their child selves being re victimized by forced birth after being raped. Women put the darkest times of their lives out for public scrutiny like bloody offerings begging to be allowed the courtesy of consideration of basic medical care that would save their lives or their souls. Largely for an audience that either already agrees or won't care until the minute it happens to them or someone they care about in the same position (and not a minute after, either). And I understand why they share anyway, why they feel they're forced to given the reality of our circumstances. But for my part, I just want to make it very clear that I don't fucking care about why. I don't care why a woman wants or needs an abortion. I don't need the prostration and you don't need my approval.
