Finished Illustration of Personal Challenge Day 1 Sketch from 04/14/2020 -- finished 04/22/2020.

Overall this was a lot of fun and experimentation for me as, one, I have rarely ever drawn humans-- and two, I haven’t ever done shading like this. I’m pretty happy with the result, but in 490 days I hope to look back at this piece and measure my growth against it.

I don’t know if I will stick with this type of shading-- but it was fun to experiment.

I will be redrawing this character a minimum of four more times by the end of this challenge-- so if you have name ideas for her, please comment! I’m thinking either something flower or spring related for this cheerful elf.
