To be honest, this is a fairly big milestone for me, especially considering how abysmal I am at any kind of self-advertising-- for a blog that's not rp or gimmick, I'm pretty sure this is the most followers I've ever had, and probably the best bunch too. You're all so supportive and encouraging, even when I'm bouncing around between fandoms and projects like oil in a hot pan!

Prizes:
There will be a total of SIX prizes given out-- three regular winners, two bonus prize winners, and one grand prize winner.
- Regular winners will each get one shortfic (3-5k) of their choosing along with a free three-month membership to the "Outer Disciple" tier of my patreon, where I publish my original novel.
- Bonus Prize winners will each get a shortfic with an internal b&w illustration, along with a free three-month membership to the "Inner Disciple" tier of my patreon.
- The Grand Prize winner will get a shortfic with an internal b&w illustration and cover art, as well as a free six-month membership to the "Inner Disciple" tier of my patreon.
In addition to the prize fics being posted and gifted on AO3, all winners will also get an EPUB or PDF version sent to them directly.

Q: When and how will winners be announced?
A: I will be drawing for prizes on the first day of September. The winners will be announced that same day and tagged in a reblog to this post.
Q: How will winners receive their prizes?
A: If you are chosen, then please make sure your askbox is open! I will be sending asks with a link to a google form where you can fill out the details of your shortfic prompt, as well as a link to accept your free patreon subscription! From what I can tell, there is no need to enter payment information to redeem a gifted subscription.
Q: What happens if a winner does not fill out the form? How long do winners have to redeem their prizes?
A: If any winners have not filled out the form by September 15th, 11:59 PM Eastern, I will send the form one more time as a reminder. If there are any winners that have not filled out the form by September 30th, 11:59 PM Eastern, then a backup winner will be drawn from the remaining pool and the original winner will no longer be eligible to have their prompt written. They may still fill out the form if they so wish, but I can't guarantee that I will write and post their prompt if it's past the end of the window. Even if the original winner has already redeemed their free patreon subscription, however, backup winners are still eligible for the full prize and will still receive a free subscription.
Q: What restrictions are there for fic prompts?
A: Fandoms will be restricted to a set list (including but not limited to MXTX's novels, Genshin and HSR). Subject matter restrictions will be similar to my Patreon People's Choice prompt restrictions (must take place in canon setting (may be canon-divergent AU, but not, for example, modern AU), no outright smut, though more "mature" themes are allowed here since the fic will only be posted on AO3), but plot, characters, and relationships will all be fairly open to anything you'd like to see. The prompt form will have a more detailed list of what I will and won't do.
Q: When will I receive my prize fic?
A: I'm already going a little ambitious with the prizes, so due to a variety of factors from personal health issues to global affairs, I don't want to shoot myself in the foot by giving a strict timeline. However, all prize fics should be posted no later than August 2026, but in reality it will likely be much sooner.
Q: What if I don't like my prize fic?
A: The form will have space for do-not-wants and must-haves, but I understand that sometimes things still might not completely work out. If you're not happy with your prize fic after it's posted, please just send me a DM letting me know what the problem is. I'll either edit the fic, rewrite some sections, or even write an entirely new fic-- but please only do this if it's make-or-break. I don't want anyone to get upset or triggered, but I'd much rather that important things be listed out in the prompt from the start.
