Flux Course 2019 Deadline Extended!

The application deadline for Flux Course 2019 has been extended to: March 29, 2019. All graduate students, post-docs, and early career scientists are welcome to apply.

For applications: Please email a CV, and a statement as to why you want to participate in the course and how you anticipate it helping your research. Arrange to have a letter/email sent from your major advisor supporting your application.

Fluxcourse is looking for volunteers! If you consider yourself a member of the global "flux" community and would like to volunteer as a Fluxcourse instructor for this or for future years, please consider nominating yourself.

In 2019, we are particularly seeking instructors with first-hand experience operating flux towers, and calculating fluxes. Community members from groups historically underrepresented in the flux community are encouraged to apply. Nominations will be reviewed, and new instructors selected, by the Fluxcourse curriculum Committee.

If you are interested in nominating yourself to volunteer, contact Blake Steiner ([email protected]) and Kim Novick ([email protected]) and include a short note explaining your interest and a CV (please forward to any networks who might be interested). The course will be from July 13-27 at the Mountain Research Station near Nederland, CO.
