You ask them to help you in opening a jar, but you secretly applied superglue on the lid as a prank. How will they handle it?
Grim
He'll smirk at you and make a comment about how mortals can be too delicate. You glare at him in annoyance as a response and tell him to just open it.
“Impatient as always,” he says in a teasing tone. “Fine. I'll open it for you. You're welcome, Sunshine.”
He twists the lid, yet it doesn't budge. He blinks, and tries again. But the jar remains unopened.
“That's weird…” He quietly comments, and twists the lid harder. He's too focused on the task in hand that he won't notice your attempt in suppressing your giggles.
He adds more force each time he fails to twist the lid open. His brows furrow together in frustration, “What in the nine hells…” He mutters in disbelief.
It's a funny sight at first. You never thought in your life that you'd ever see a Grim Reaper struggling to open a jar. But you start to worry when you notice his face turns red and grits his teeth in irritation. He's taking this way too seriously. You try to tell him the truth, but he only shakes his head stubbornly, not giving you a chance to speak.
“No, Sunshine. I said I'll help, and I intend to keep my promise,” he glares down at the tightly shut jar sitting on his palm. His expression is intense and deathly. “To think of a measly little jar able to challenge my strength… I am the best of the best. Mark my words. One day, I will open you.”
Welp. You tried.
0204
He winks at you and cheerfully accepts your request. “Anything for my favorite Grim Reaper! Your knight in shining armors is at your service~ ;)”
He begins to twist the lid. When it doesn't even move an inch, he tries again. His face contorts into confusion. He puts more force on his third attempt.
“Hnngh… Where the hell did you get this jar…” He grunts while putting all his might into twisting the jar's lid. “It's… Tight as hell… Holy shit… Uh, not in a sexual, fun way.”
You raise an eyebrow in amusement at his words. He groans as he continues his effort. When the jar remains stubborn and unopened, he slumps his shoulders in defeat.
“Sorry, 0213. I don't think you'll be getting any of that [Favorite Jam] anytime soon,” he scratches his head sheepishly as he hands you the jar back. “What's that jar even made of? Sheesh… You think 5012 would hand us that if we fail a mission as punishment?”
He blinks at you when you explain that you glued it shut as a prank. Your friend pouts at you and crosses his arm in fake irritation. “How could you be so cruel! Pranking me like that… I thought we're friends– No, partners in crime!” He exclaims gloomily.
As if a lightbulb appears on top of his head, the corners of his lips curve upwards into a mischievous grin at the same time.
“Hey, maybe 5012 can open it for us…?”
5012
5012 is a very busy man. He's so busy with sorting and reading some important papers and documents you don't understand about on his desk that he doesn't bother to scold you from entering his office uninvited. It seems he has grown used to your antics by now.
When you voice your struggle in opening the jar and hope that your boss can aid you, 5012 lifts up his head and stares at you with a deadpan look. You feel his eyes searching for something in your expression, it makes you feel nervous and start to doubt if this is a good idea afterall.
You think he's going to scold you and kick you out of his work space, until he plucks the object out of your hands wordlessly. He looks back down at his work, his eyes not leaving the printed words on the papers as his hands work around the jar.
He twists the lid. After his first failure, he tries again, and again, and again, and again…
The Reaper finally looks away from the documents to confirm if what he's holding is a simple jar. His face twists into confusion for a moment, then puts the jar on his desk and faces you with a stern, disapproving look, like a disappointed father about to scold his child. His hand doesn't leave the jar as he glares at you.
“What did you do, 0213?”
Your mouth hangs open in disbelief. He found out already?
You stammer out explanations and excuses to cover up your prank. 5012 nods and hums at your every word. Once you finish defending yourself, he pauses for a few seconds thoughtfully before asking you again, “So what are you scheming this time?”
Gah!
No matter how many times you explain yourself, your boss still sees through your lies. It seems your prank has failed… This time.
☆ Synopsis: After taking a sip of water, you look to your beloved reaper and figured they totally needed some too! And yes, it is important they drink out of the water bottle YOU drank out of!

A/N: hey guys! MAKE SURE TO HYDRATE YOURSELVES! YAY! also ermmm i’m not super well-versed on 5012’s character… </3 sorry…
Casper (8394)
Casper is very skeptical when you offer the bottle to him. He could tell there’s something to this as your… literal soulmate.
He accepts anyway because there was no evidence to suggest that you have ulterior motives behind the offer and to give you the benefit of doubt from possible mischief.
When you giggle about how you both indirectly kissed, his cheeks bursted into red from being flustered and feeling the embarrassment for being tricked so easily.
Don’t blame him for being tricked! He loves and trusts you dearly!
However, he will be researching more on the internet to save himself in the future, by the way.
But, hmm… Maybe getting an indirect kiss this way isn’t that bad… Free kisses!
“Why do you look so smug…?” Casper knows that quenching thirst is normal for all living beings, so what’s with that look??? Surely, there’s nothing wrong with drinking water?
Well… he’s fixated on the wrong thing here.
“We totally kissed just now!”
What.
Casper pauses… because that doesn’t make any sense? Doesn’t make sense to him, at least. “What? I just drank water. How does that make it kissing you?”
You chuckled as if it were common knowledge, “because you drank out of the same water I used, silly!”
“Ah,” it clicks. “Ah…” it hits him. Who knew humans would think of it this way?
Casper’s face turned red enough that it was very obvious for you to notice on his fair skin, which is silly since you’ve both already kissed many times before. On the lips, to be specific.
“I-I did not know that you would trick me like this…!”
“Why are you acting like we’ve never kissed????”
5012
5012 does not drink it immediately — not because he knows, but because he thinks it’d be unnecessary (he does not know your true intentions yet).
Reapers like you and 5012 don’t need it the way humans do, so what is the point? It’d take him actual convincing to get him to drink the damn thing for some reason (it takes more time than actually drinking the water smh).
“If you don’t drink some water, then you don’t love me :(”
He ends up drinking water but tries to make it seem like he didn’t fold under zero pressure. Don’t embarrass him about it~ ^_^
When you point out that you both ‘technically’ kissed, he stares at you.
“What’s with that look? I just drank water.” 5012 looks at you as if there is nothing wrong… and well, there is nothing wrong with drinking out of your beloved’s water bottle, but he doesn’t get the point.
Luckily, you’re here to enlighten him!
“We totally kissed just now!”
You could visibly see the way 5012’s thoughts turned into question marks with how that could possibly work as he stared at you.
“So that was your intention when you were getting me to drink? You could’ve just asked.” He understood what you meant (that you indirectly kissed by using the same water bottle), but he didn’t really get it…
“Yeah, but I just wanted to try!” Can’t you have these little cute and romantic moments together— “I’ll take this as a sign to start wiping or refusing.”
“YOOOO… Chill with the jokes broooo…”
Okay, maybe these are more on silly and dumb moments if you really think about it (silly x serious combo)…
Atlas (0204)
The moment you offer your water bottle, Atlas’ raising his thick-ass eyebrow.
You two think alike, so it’s no wonder he catches on to your plans… You’re not slick at all with your attempt to trick him into not knowing.
Regardless, he drinks without question and thanks you for it! Who is he to refuse anything free or offered by someone? Especially you!
Then, Atlas pretty much steals your lines of mentioning you both indirectly kissing, so you guys just… start roleplaying…?
Goofy behavior comes naturally to you two. It is hella stupid, but silly indeed.
“Dude… we…” Atlas gasps to be extra, using his roleplaying voice. “We… totally kissed just now…”
You mirror him, gasping as well. “OMG… N-no way…! That’s what… I was gonna say…!” Yes, the stutter was done on purpose. For more giggles.
“I know… I, heh, never kissed anyone in this life… You’re my… first kiss…” Oh my god, this shit is so stupid. SON 😂
“Woah… What a coincidence — I-I think… you’re my first kiss too… hehe…” You tucked your hair behind your ear and you started doing little shy girl emotes to make the roleplay cringier.
You swore you saw Atlas try not to close his eyes and smile out of instinct.
Atlas squeals like an idiot and wiggles his body all goofy, “kyaaaa…!!! This must be destiny…!”
“BOY SHUT YO ASS UP WITH THE ‘KYAA’ LMAO 😭”
“WE ARE TRYING TO ROLEPLAY!!! LOCK THE FUCK IN DUDE…”
Yes, you are both acting like that indirect kiss was your first kiss ever. That is the roleplay.
son what the FUCK was atlas’ part LMFAO. definitely need to see more of 5012 when adwd2 fully releases to be able to write him properly :[
okay anyways~ so I had this idea, then I had another idea. but that idea would take a bit longer to write, so I finished this idea first before the other idea. get it? awesome! fantastic!

You had spent the day being on your absolute best behavior. You had trained with Atlas instead of playing claw games with him all day, behaved in the field when going topside, and even filled out the proper paperwork and filed it. All of this was part of your master plan, of course.
You put on your most innocent smile as you walked into 5012’s office. He looked over the pile of paperwork on his desk towards you, eyes narrowing.
“No.” he deadpanned.
“I didnt even do anything!” you countered.
“I cannot humor any distractions at the moment, leave.”
“Me?? Distracting??” your tone indicated affront, which was a cover for what is really was, bullshit.
His eyebrow raised so high you wondered if it would float off his face.
“Im sure you have your own work to finish as well.”
“Already done. And since I finished early I figured I would help you.” You smiled in a way that was reminiscent of a door to door salesman in the 1950s with something to prove and a wife they didn't love.
He gave you a glare that would have sent most people running.
“I have actual work that needs to be done by tonight, I cannot humor your games today.”
“Oh dont be like that, I'll actually help! At least for a while, I promise!”
You paused for a moment, seeing his unnwavering glare.
“...and if you dont let me help, I'll get Atlas and we’ll play the trumpet really loud outside your door. And neither of us remember how trumpets work.”
5012 let out an audible sigh, which you took as a sign of his defeat.
You happily skipped over to his desk, pulling over an extra chair and grabbing about a third of the stack of papers to work on. Despite everything, you actually did want to help. Because you respected the importance of his work.
And because he was alot more fun to mess with when he didnt have work as an excuse to distract him.
After about an hour of both of you sitting shoulder to shoulder in comfortable silence, the pile of work had significantly diminished.
Glancing over, you saw 5012 looking significantly less stressed. Of course for him, significantly less stress meant one line between his brows disappearing. His expressions were virtually unreadable for quite a while, but you had managed to decode his many vaguely annoyed faces into their true meaning.
Now was your time to strike.
“I have a question about filling out this form.” you stated, standing up from your chair and leaning in, setting the paper down in his line of sight.
Of course he wasnt focused on the paper, he was focused on the way your hand trailed from his shoulder to his bicep, slowly folowing the vein lines down to his wrist. He was focused on the way your hair lightly brushed his cheek when you leaned in, and how painfully soft your eyes were when you peered at him.
It wasnt long before the paperwork was forgotten, as was the chair you had pulled beside him. Instead you were straddling his waist while he sat in his leather armchair, hands on your hips as you ran your fingers through his hair.
Your lips met his, warm and soft and you closed your eyes and leaned into his touch. You felt his hands grip your hips a little harder as-
BANG
The sound of a window slamming open immediately cut through the moment.
You instinctively jumped back, startled at the sound. You would have fallen off the chair if 5012 hadn’t caught you and pulled you back to safety. You let out an “oof” as your forehead bonked into his shoulder blade.
You saw the cause of the sound, a handsome young reaper with long white hair and red eyes was now standing in 5012’s office after climbing through the window.
A look of pure shock graced the reapers features as he stared directly at 5012, with the intensity of a cat staring at a can of food. 5012 looked like he wanted to bang his head into the wall until he forgot his own name. Or push the white haired man out of the window.
You gave the white haired man a friendly wave.
“No fucking way.” White haired man finally spoke, his shock breaking into a wide smile.
“Get the fuck out.” 5012 responded, you still wrapped up in his arms.
But you recognized that voice. This was the reaper 5012 had been talking to before. The revolutionary, 8394.
You jumped out of 5012’s arms and practically climbed over his desk to greet what may be 5012’s only friend. Even if he wouldn’t admit it.
“Hi, Nice to meet you 8394! 5012 told me about you and your epic love story!” You started, holding out your hand for the white haired man to shake.
The white man smirked in a way that reminded you of a white cat with many knives being pointed at it. Strange, must have been a memory from when you were alive.
“Please, call me Casper. And let me tell you, the pleasure is all mine. Although regrettably, 5012 hasn’t told me about you yet.”
"This is 2013. one of the reapers I'm...training."
you watched the defense come out of 5012's mouth, and the regret immediately follow. Being caught in a compromising position with someone Casper had basically forced 5012 to work with was not going to make this situation easier on him. It took everything you had not to laugh.
Casper gave 5012 a look reserved for a younger brother learning something that he would tease his older brother about for the foreseeable decade. And 5012 looked like he was about to become the Abel to 5012’s Cain.
“You have to tell me about 5012 in the revolution, I’ve been dying to know and he won't tell me anything.”
“Oh, I'll tell you everything. My sunshine and I have enough stories about him to fill a book.”
“Is that your mortal lover?” you questioned, excited. You absolutely needed to know about the forbidden romace that started a revolution
“indeed. My sunshine is the only other person who can compare to me in both looks and personality.” He preened.
You couldnt help but chuckle at his vanity. He was so different from 5012.
“Oh my gods, I have to tell them about this!” Casper exclaimed as he pulled out his phone and clicked on a name with a sunflower emoji next to it.
The phone was only able to ring once before 5012’s hand reached down and snatched the phone, ending the call.
“Alright that's enough. Get out.” 5012 crossed his arms and attemped to stare Casper down.
If anything, Casper just looked more amused as he met 5012s gaze, clearly used to his attitude. But in the end Casper was the first one to look away.
“Alright, I just needed to pick up that report from you, my sincerest apologies for interrupting…”
His silence said all it needed as he climbed back out the window, now floating above the twilight city.
“So double date when?” he smirked.
5012 strode over to the window and slammed it shut before Casper could get another word out, a tired sigh escaping his lips when Caspers laughter was finally silenced by the glass pane.
“He was fun.” You laughed.
5012 glared at you, a hint of betrayal in his eyes.
You laughed and moved to lean up against him, your hands once again finding their way to his silky hair.
“I just want to get to know your friends.”
“They're not-”
He began to protest, but one look at your face and he knew there was no winning this argument. Instead he just leaned into your embrace, his face finally calm once again.

5012’s office door greeted you quietly.
Paperwork, paperwork, paperwork and paperwork again.
At this point when you thought about 5012, senior Grim Reaper and your trainer, you could only picture his face covered by stacks of paper.
Was that normal?
Why would a place full of dead people need so many files?
Souls probably, classified information, those terminated reapers in need of rescue and yada yada yada.
You fumbled with the edge of your shirt, stalling.
0204, Atlas, was nowhere to be found, probably off to sleep or… honestly you didn’t know. Did you even want to know?
Your section of HQ was quiet. Time was frozen in the Underworld, but it was supposed to be past midnight in the human world, and Reapers either set out for missions or rested around that time, for convenience.
In all that stillness, and boredom, you thought that it would be a good idea to greet your oh so dear trainer.
Taking for granted his probable irritation… ahem.
How should you even approach him? It was never easy, but not difficult either.
You kind of rehearsed your greeting while climbing the stairs to his office: barging into the room rather loudly and risk getting punched in the face.
No, you thought, you would revisit the idea for another day.
And there you were, listening to the led lights buzzing above you. In silence.
Waiting, anticipating.
“Are you going to come in or not?” His voice, muffled by the door.
It didn’t even scare you, it just surprised you a tiny bit.
“Just so you know, you probably look stupid standing idle like that, especially out of my office,” he continued.
Rude.
“First of all,” you slowly pushed the door open, “rude.”
Your face peered from the crack.
“Second of all,” you slid in the room, closing the door behind you, “you’re ugly.”
A smile adorned your lips, yet the man on the other side of the office, sitting behind his desk, didn’t even raise his eyes, “you’ll find out that I do not care about your opinion of me 0213.”
He flipped a file over, unbothered. "Especially when it’s uncalled for.”
What a grump.
In the new found silence you took in his office again. It was the same as always, but every time something appeared and disappeared.
A stack of files, an unfinished cup of coffee, 5012’s coat on the chair, books opened on random pages and so on.
It was like an ecosystem, a very sad one of course. Changing and working in its own way.
“Why are you here, 0213? You’re awfully quiet,” the grumpy, ugly, boring, absolutely lame man spoke again.
“Ah, uhm, I was distracted sorry,” you walked further into the room.
“Distracted by?” He barely raised his eyebrows, “why you of course,” you teased, smiling.
5012 refused to look at you, and to entertain you.
“Do you need help big boss?” You peered over the stack of papers. “Hardly, you’d only make things… harder."
“Tell me about it,” a stupid grin formed on you face, eyes wandering around before setting on the guy in front of you, who was already looking at you, sternly.
“Okay, okay, I’ll stop,” you raised your hands defensively, only relaxing after his glare left you.
“Can I at least stay here?” You probably would’ve stayed anyway.
“Why?”
“There’s no one around and nothing to do.”
“Go rest.”
“I can’t.”
“Why not?”
“How would I know? I still don’t understand this Grim Reaper body,” you huffed, he sighed.
“Just be quiet.” He rubbed his temples, sliding his fingers down his face in resignation.
A few minutes went by, you could only hear your breathing and the occasional pen scratching the paper's surface.
5012’s office was very dark, and very purple… dark purple.
You slowly made you way around it, taking in the subtle details, the titles of the books, the pattern of their covers, the arrangement of the tiles on the floor. Some were uneven.
Your curiosity took you to the big window. Looking down you saw a street, in front of you endless “sky scrapers”.
You knew the word, but never actually stopped to think about it, how could a building scratch the sky if there was no sky?
“How high up are we?” You leaned against the glass.
“If you’re planning to jump down I’d advise against it,” he tapped his pen on the desk.
“Wh— Why would I do that?! I already died once,” you twisted your neck to look at him weird.
“0204 once said that he wanted to test his fall damage, maybe he shared that stupid idea with you,” you alerted the distinct tone of annoyance in 5012’s voice.
“Well, even if he did… I’m not him, and it’s not like I go along everything he does—“
“…?”
“Mostly.” You coughed.
And then silence again.
You finished scrutinizing his room and returned in front of 5012, sitting on one of the chairs.
“Your office is cozy. I get why you’re always here,” your arms flopped on the table, next to some signed files.
“I’m glad it’s to you liking but I’m not always here, 0213.”
“Every time I come knocking you’re here.”
“Pure coincidence.”
“When do you go out?”
“Occasionally.”
Silence.
“Are you sure you can’t lie?” You raised one eyebrow.
“I can lie, but chose not to,” he huffed.
“So you’re not lying now.”
“No, 0213, I am not.”
“But you’re avoiding the truth. Because it’s a fact that you’re shut in here most of the time,” you’ve been staring at the man for a while now, and just then he returned your gaze.
Not matching your energy at all… but at least he was looking at you.
He cleared his throat.
“Should’t you be resting? We have stuff to do in some hours,” you looked at the clock.
“I already told you, I can’t fall asleep. Check your hearing grandpa.”
You smiled, he did not.
In all honesty, if 5012 could, he’d be smashing his head on the table with much pleasure… and until the surface molded into the shape of his face
“Why did you come here?” He interlaced his hands together, resting his chin against them. Purple irises dug deep into you, were 5012’s eyes always so sharp?
“I wanted to keep you company,” your voice quivered with embarrassment. You wondered, on a scale from 1 to 10, how much you looked stupid while saying that.
“I do not need your company, 0213.” He repeated the word with a strange tone, almost as if he was pronouncing it for the first time.
“Wow you’re so emo.” You dead panned.
“Here I was trying to be kind,” you continued, folding your arms.
“I don’t need your kindness either, you’ll see that’s something the Underworld is lacking.” The senior Grim Reaper grimaced.
“I guess I’ll be the first kind Grim Reaper,” you whispered to yourself, fidgeting with your sleeves.
5012’s eyes snapped to your face, scanning you and maybe your very soul, in a pensive silence.
Silly him probably forgot to look away because you caught him right in the act when you focused on him once again.
“Do I have something on my face?” You joked, ignoring the weight of his attention.
“No you do not,” he began. “It just surprised me, what you said.” He blinked, dragging his eyes to the window and… staring, glaring, admiring it.
You expected him to elaborate further, but he didn’t, and you both sat in silence once again.
It was comfortable, for you of course. For that emo guy over there, probably not.
You could only hear outside world, 5012’s office acted as a bubble, quiet, floating over the everything.
“Why?” You heard him ask.
To who? You weren’t sure. He wasn’t looking at you.
“What?” You asked, caught off guard.
You swore you saw his body shake and stiffen, barely, but you knew it did. His eyes were on yours again, for one second he looked startled and the next it was gone.
“I,” his mouth hung agape in thought.
“I think you should go 0213,” his voice gradually got colder, back to his usual tone huh.
“Why?” You asked, confused.
Why.
“I need to continue with my work, alone. You are distracting in the worst ways,” he fixed his necklace and jacket, nervously.
“Did I do something?”
“Just go, I’ll see you later for training,” he refused to look at you.
You could only imagine the consequences of pushing him too far, so you let it go.
“Okay,” you got up, the leather of the chair creaking under your weight.
“Goodnight then, or good day,” you put on a light hearted tone while walking backwards towards the door, 5012 never looked at you.
Your smile faltered. Finding the handle you disappeared once again, in the cold and silent halls of the building.
Why?
If eyes could burn, 5012’s office door would’ve been reduced to ashes.
Brows furrowed, eyes squinted, various lines caused by tension decorated the man’s face.
His body was still stiff, until he deflated all at once, fingers creeping up to rub his eyes in frustration? Anger? Tiredness? Fuck him if he knew.
Staring at the spot you left empty, 5012’s night went on.
A sound from your computer caught your attention, you rolled on your bed, one of the plushies from the infamous claw machine in your arms.
Another sound, and another.
“Hmpf,” you wobbled towards your desk.
Atlas: “Earth, or idk, to oh two one three”
Atlas: “I was thinking, why not go try to make a mysterious food from we find in the kitchen? Who knows how the Underworld stuff reacts to each other…”
Atlas: “Helloooooo???”
You stared at the text, grinning.
0213: “Hi chicken”
Atlas: “I’m not.”
0213: “Honk honk”
Atlas: “That’s not how chickens sing”
0213: “How do you know?”
Atlas: “I saw a video duh”
0213: “Did you now…”
Atlas: “Here look”
Atlas: *1 attachment
…
0213: “woW”
Atlas: “Aaaaaaanyways,,, how are you? Wanna hit the kitchen?”
0213: “Not today sorry, I have a lot on my mind.”
Atlas: “I want to have your lot on my mind swell ;)”
0213: “5012 was mean to me”
0213: “:(((((((“
Atlas: “hOw Dare he, cold hearted king!”
Atlas: “He’s such a doofus.”
You would’ve searched the meaning of that word later.
0213: “Has he been weird with you too or…?”
Atlas: “He’s always weird with me, I mean in the mean way.”
You asked a stupid question. Or just to the wrong person.
Atlas: “Maybe he’s in THAT time of the month.”
0213: “Huh”
Atlas: “Idk dude, he probably hadn't had his coffee when you talked to him.”
0213: “We’ll wait and see, now go be useful to the world.”
Atlas: “You mean being absolutely useful to society and sending the claw machine in bankruptcy?”
0213: “Honestly I don’t even remember what that word meant but sure, pop off diva!”
You logged out of your iReaper, pondering on what to do in this soon to be boring day.
5012 hadn’t called any meeting nor training yet, which was weird, but until further notice you were free. As much as you were.
It wasn’t like your newborn soul was chained with this association of Grim Reapers that totally killed people, without a way out.
Heh. Free time!
Although, it confused you. 5012, senior Grim Reaper, role model, dutiful worker deathly dedicated to his job, didn’t alert you about working.
Nor training, not even complaining about some crazy shit 0204 pulled.
Checking up on him wouldn’t have been a bad idea, not a good one either.
Your feet went on autopilot and when you snapped out of your thoughts, you were back in front of that office.
Determine as you were nothing could’ve stopped you!
“Oh 5012!” Hand on the door handle you were ready to burst in until… the door didn’t budge.
“Huh,” you rattled it, lightly at first, then harder, gripping it with your whole strength, making the whole door shake.
He either closed you out or wasn’t in the room at all.
You could’ve knocked this thing down. No, too extreme.
Resting your hands on your hips you huffed.
“I guess I’ll come back later. With a chainsaw. This isn’t over, fuckass door.”
You glared daggers at the piece of building as you walked away.
Your steps faded out and silence settled back in, the two men in the room relaxed.
“Didn’t know your trainee was so, direct,” the white haired guy spoke first.
“What was direct in what they did?” 5012 asked, annoyed.
“Almost taking the door out of its hinges.”
“They’d know better.”
“Are they always like that?”
“Abrupt?”
“Yeah.”
“I’ve got two of them, actually three with you.”
“Hey, rude.”
“Casper, you should go, wouldn’t want to be eavesdropped on a second time.”
1 am. You were back. Along with your… will? You couldn’t find a chainsaw.
Skipping the knocking you directly went to the offensive, trying to open the door, which again, didn’t budge.
“Oh for fuck’s sake,” you cursed under your breath, pushing and pulling it angrily.
Suddenly you heard a clicking sound, and got dragged along the door as it opened. Revealing a very, very, annoyed 5012.
Your hands were glued to the handle, sweaty.
“Oops, hi boss,” you did everything you could to avoid his gaze.
“Sometimes I wonder why they made you a Reaper 0213,” he sighed.
“I guess I’m that good,” a stupid grin was plastered on your face, letting go of the door.
“I half thought you wouldn’t be here, and actually asleep,” you continued.
“So you DO spend all your time in here,” you pointed an accusing finger to the tall man.
“Is that why you’re here?”
“Yes and also, uhm, to ask why there wasn’t training today.”
“Paperwork kept me busy,” his voice was lower than usual, taking a good look at him, you noticed that he looked more tired. And that was surprising considering he looked tired all the time.
“Can I help?” You smiled, encouraging the man to say yes.
“No,” he replied quickly, “but, I appreciate the offer.”
Your stomach flipped upon hearing 5012’s tone soften. Damn.
“Of course,” you looked down at the floor.
“Can I at least stay here? I’ll be good!”
“I have a feeling that you will stay regardless of what I may say,” the Grim Reaper sulked away, defeated, and headed back to his desk.
“You know me so well!” You followed him with a skip in your step.
The night passed in the quiet of 5012’s office. Having small talks every now and then, insulting each other.
The thought of your trainer never resting lingered.
Persistently.
You weren’t REALLY worried though.
...
Ok, you were. A tiny bit.
So you kept “visiting”, sacrificing your nights to stay with him and the days to hang out with 0204. After a while you also resumed training.
5012 never questioned the real reason behind your nightly appearances, and if he was bothered by it, he didn’t show it through and through.
It became a habit, going to the “purple room”.
Every night he was in his spot, refusing to rest.
Because his job was his life, and he wanted to feel alive, to have a purpose.
A week passed of you and him spending your nights together, obviously 5012 couldn’t have a say in this.
Tonight was no different. You were lounging under the big window, asking stupid questions to the other man, for the sake of wasting his time.
“Why can’t chickens fly?” You quizzed.
“How did you learn about chickens?”
“Atlas told me about them, they’re cute,” you smiled, focusing on the faraway buildings. Imagining a chicken flying from one to the other.
“I don’t know why I’m answering you, but no. From what I know and saw, chickens can’t fly,” 5012 facepalmed, you giggled.
The night went on like that, you asking his favorite candy, him admitting that he never had one, you being shocked before moving on to another question.
Before the both of you realized it, you fell into a habit of being there for each other. Well, sort of.
You fell into the habit of being there and 5012 into the one of, waiting. Waiting for you.
He slowly noticed how he’d think about you in the evening, whether you’d show up or how’d you show up.
A week in, tonight, before you made your appearance he made sure to tide up any misplaced objects and hide the fragile ones just because he saw you almost trip on yourself during training, and decided that he wanted nothing to do with broken objects.
“I heard that Reapers can fly,” you spoke suddenly, he nodded.
“Is there a secret or…?” You tilted your head.
“No, it’ll come to you eventually.”
The man looked at the window, you followed his line of sight.
There was nothing outside.
A dark, empty sky and tall, cold buildings.
You whispered something about reaching the moon, or the sun.
5012 did’t immediately ask you why.
He pondered, and wondered how you could remember what those two things were.
In the end he did ask, carefully.
When did he start being cautious around you?
“Oh I,” you paused, staring at him.
“I don’t. I don’t remember. I just feel that I want to see them.”
You smile, a bit confused yourself.
“You could always describe them to me,” you fidgeted with your clothes. "So at least I’d know what I want to reach,” you joked.
The senior Reaper stared back at you. Searching, questioning.
He surprised you when he complied, beginning with the Sun.
Pure light, he said, warmth, the opposite of whatever you had seen in the Underworld.
Then the Moon.
Something you figured he preferred by how he talked about it.
“The Moon has been my only companion, since the beginning of this long job. The only real witness of all the souls I’ve taken,” his eyes slowly set on his desk, his hands intertwined.
“Many mortals spoke to the Moon before their end, they asked for mercy, kindness. Sometimes for a reason.”
He paused, thinking, calculating, recalling.
And as quickly as he started, he stopped, abruptly.
“Yeah that’s all.”
5012 cleared his throat, collecting pieces of his cold attitude, building his wall once again.
You had perked up during his explanation, his delicate tone caught you off guard. So reverent, smooth, chilling.
You decided against teasing him about it. He felt like a wild animal when he was near you. Inching closer, painfully slow and running so far away if noticed.
You kept your tongue in your mouth.
“Just a big ball of light in the sky,” he spoke, rushing his words.
“And the other is a smaller ball, white.”
You nodded.
“I’d like to see them one day, maybe even touch them,” you blinked, eyes meeting the vast black sky.
5012 thought about saying something about it being impossible AND dangerous. He did not. He let you dream.
But why did you want to reach the sun, the moon?
Why did you want to be kind?
Why?
Your conversations swayed between unbelievably stupid topics to extremely deep ones in matter of minutes.
First you were asking about the moon, then how many plastic balls would be needed to fill the Reaper’s office.
Then about your lost life, and later about fishes.
One day you asked about the stars. You had heard other Reapers talk about them and you, obviously, got curious, and decided to rely on 5012cyclopedia.
“It’s been a while since you asked me about space,” the man noted.
It had been a little more than 2 weeks since you started nagging your trainer.
“They’re small white dots in the sky,” the corners of his mouth curled slightly.
“They’re little moons!” You smiled.
“Not quite but to the human eye, I suppose.”
“Can you reach them?”
“0213 we can’t even reach the moon, which is pretty close.”
No response.
Another day you met him at the coffee machine. The first thing you noticed were his prominent eye bags.
Not that he never had them, but they were particularly dark tonight.
5012’s eyes quickly found you. Zeroing on you from the side.
“Rough night?” You asked.
“Rough everything. 0204 covered my office in confetti.”
He looked —more like glared— down at his coffee mug.
A few seconds of silence passed, 5012 suddenly felt his blood pressure rise. “Please don’t ask me anyth—“
“What’s your favorite blend of coffee?”
Ugh.
And it went on. And on, and on, and on.
Night after night.
He thought of you as a nuisance at first, but gradually reconsidered your presence as an ALMOST entertaining one.
He wondered if you sacrificed your sleep for him.
The idea made him smile. Wait, no, huh?
Maybe you didn’t sleep at all. Or you did, just not at night.
Until finally, after a month of you stating that 5012 was a recluse who only stayed in his office, his pride took over, deciding to prove you wrong.
How?
One evening he quickly messaged you that he wouldn’t have been in his office that night and to not search him. No further explanation and no clues.
Turns out he decided to hang out on the building rooftop, not expecting you to show up.
Firstly because he didn’t tell you where he was, and secondly because you didn’t know how to reach that place.
That is until you, somehow, barged through the stairs’ door.
“How did you—“
“I started asking about you and searching for a way up here as soon as you texted me. It’s that simple.”
No it’s not, it wasn’t, it shouldn’t have been.
You’re dumb, stupid.
He didn’t say anything.
“Why the change of location?” You walked up to him, looking at the scenery.
“Birdwatching.”
You stopped next to him.
“There are birds in the Underworld?”
“I’m messing with you 0213.”
You snapped your head towards 5012, he was looking at the other buildings ahead.
“Since when do you lie?”
“It wasn’t a lie, it was a joke.”
“Even worse. Since when can you joke?”
“You and 0204 are a bad influence.”
“Rude.”
You swore you saw a smirk grace 5012’s face.
Your voice and Casper’s mixed in his mind, reminiscing when the other “Reaper” told him the same thing.
“Anyways,” you chirped, “you finally left your office!”
He huffed, annoyed.
Was it worth entertaining you? He didn’t answer.
In the quiet of the night you thought that... this was nice, chatting with 5012. Then you noticed that you were smiling to yourself.
Ah…
You shielded you face from him, suddenly embarrassed.
If he saw you like that he probably would’ve called you an idiot.
Luckily the man was distracted by the dark sky above.
“Say 0213,” he whispered.
Why.
“Why do you want to reach the moon and the sun?”
Your eyes widened, surprised.
He remembered that?
“Uhm,” you paused, not exactly knowing why.
The reason was buried in your lost memories.
But it felt right —like your name— to grasp at anything and everything connecting you to the human world. To the lost you.
Purple eyes pierced you. Waiting.
“I saw a few pictures of them and I…” the words died in your throat.
Your brain was digging, clawing at something that was no longer there.
“It just felt… I felt, grief.”
Grief.
5012’s eyes softened.
He hummed, acknowledging your answer, eyes meeting the sky once more. Oh, how eyes could tell everything.
During the shared nights the man had unconsciously learned to read you better. He never wanted to, but still, it happened.
His tongue trembled in his mouth.
It downed on him the reality of the situation. Two mortals now dead and reborn anew. Two beings that had to learn how to “live” again, on the rooftop of a random building, in a cold city. Alone.
He thought he got used to it. But you… you were new to this.
You truly were alone in that world.
It was a rare occurrence, seeing 5012 have mercy, be kind.
But that night, engulfed in death with you, he gave you solace.
“0213,” his tone was painfully delicate.
Only then you noticed the proximity.
It was both suffocating and comforting at the same time.
You hummed low, curious.
Some time ago, you'd never thought you'd find yourself having serious talks with 5012.
You only ever wanted to poke him. Annoy him.
But you longed for more. You yearned.
In him you could start seeing a person. Someone worth discovering.
Someone that made your heart squeeze and your stomach twist.
Because he knew what having it hard felt like.
Only God knew how your lived your human life.
Yet your body remembered.
In him you saw someone who could understand, even if he refused to.
And then, only then, the man showed a piece of his heart. To you.
“I will show you the moon.”

You simply must be the most infuriating person 5012 has ever met in his "grandpa" reaper years.
You always challenge him, push his buttons, make him all hot and bothered without even acknowledging it.
You always manage to get under his skin.
And he hates it. He hates you.
It was to no surprise when your glamour form, your very soul essence, was indeed a fox. It suit you. He thought. He almost smiled at it.
And here you are again into his office, early, teasing him like always, trying to get to know him.
"But seriously what's your favorite color? I would guess its purple right? I mean your whole outfit is giving "I love purple!!" vibes"
"I do not have a favorite I think every color has its own meaning and importance and having a favorite would be irrelevant to my work"
"Gosh its always just work, work, work with you huh?"
"As if you expected anything different"
"Got me there...."
The edge of his mouth slightly twitched.
"So then you really don't care about anything besides work? Like some hobbies or I don't know-"
"I haven't really thought about it considering how busy I always am, especially now"
"Then after all of this is over...can I help you find any?"
He pauses at that.
"If you do your work well and everything is solved....maybe."
You gave a sly grin.
"Only if you do your work well."
"Fineeee I guess I'll take that."
Just then 0204 entered his office, probably late again because of some trouble downstairs, claw machine or something like that.
Honestly 5012 kind of enjoys it when you come early to chat with him or at least try to.
He gets really worried when you're late though.
Once you were late because of some trouble with the claw machine and were really sad that you didn't get the owl plushie.
You found the plushie on your bed that exact same night.
You don't know who it could be and 0204 keeps teasing you about your "secret admirer".
It starts out with the plushie but it quickly becomes a regular matter. A snack, a human trinklet you mentioned you liked during one of your missions, anything you remotely mentioned, it was yours.
You figured it was probably 0204 or 5012, that was the only explanation. But you were always with 0204 lately so he couldn't have done that... Which leaves 5012.
"You're early. Again."
"Oh admit you like it already."
"No."
"So cold for being my secret admirer, hm?"
He stiffened at your words.
"How did you-"
"It was too specific... And I spend too much time with 0204 to know it wasn't him."
He remained silent.
"Didn't know you wanted my attention this bad."
"I don't-"
He turned his back to you on his chair.
You quickly spun him and admired his flushed face.
He was blushing from his nose to the tip of his ears.
You remained stunned at the sight.
He cleared his throat and looked away, trying to hide his face.
You quickly caught his hand.
"Don't hide, I wanna see you right now"
"This is unprofessional, let me go this instant-"
"No."
He looked up at you and his lips slightly parted.
"Good"
You rubbed his chin slightly.
"Why did you give me all those things, hm? Do you like me Mister?"
"Stop spewing such nonsensical things!"
"Well then what's your explanation?"
"I was being a good boss and caring, that's all."
"Ah so you do care about me"
He turned his head again.
"Well... I suppose I should thank you for all of those things."
"Yes you should- wait wha-"
You dropped to your knees under his desk and started unbuckling his pants.
"This is my way of thanking you"
"You-"
"Can I?"
He looked at you for a second, gulping, before nodding slightly.
You took him out of his boxers and whistled at his pale and veiny cock.
"Is this your first blowjob, Mr Bossman?"
"Don't call me tha- oh"
He was cut off by your mouth sliding on his cock.
He bit his lip, looking down at you.
"If you must know- it is my first-"
You hummed on his dick happily at his admission.
He tilted his head back as his breathing quickened with every bob of your head.
Suddenly 0204 just burst into his office like always.
5012 stiffened and quickly hid his lower body (and you) under his desk.
"Heeeeeyyy- oh where is 0213?"
"I do not know, maybe oversleeping."
You continued sucking even as he placed a hand on your head, signaling for you to stop.
"Maybe, or maybe downstairs with the claw machine or socializing again"
5012 coughed slightly as you focused on his tip.
"You should perhaps check-"
"Bossman are you okay? Some kinda soul sickness or what?"
"I am fine"
5012 was gripping the table with his other hand, his knuckles turning white.
"Just go check 5013's dorm. I'll call and see if its something else."
"Okaaaay~"
0204 quickly exited the office.
As soon as the door closed he looked at you under the table, still happily sucking on his cock.
"You're such a fucking slut-"
You started stroking him with your hands as you took your mouth off him.
"You're the one who can't keep his noises in even as a co-worker comes in, who's really the slut here?"
He pursed his lips and gave a soft groan as you stroked the underside of his tip.
You grinned at his reaction and happily put your mouth on him again, placing one hand on his meaty thigh.
"Wait- there is this weird warm feeling-"
You looked up at him and started bobbing your head faster.
He wrapped his palm in your hair.
"Wait-"
He gave a few ragged groans before a moan slid out of his mouth as he came.
You continued on sucking through his orgasm as he clenched his thighs and his head dropped back.
"What was-"
"Your first orgasm I would assume. Or maybe you had more when you were a human, who knows."
You said, putting him back in his pants before getting up and licking your lips.
And, just in time, 0204 came back to find a flushed 0512 and a very smug you, as always.
Oughhhh, I got hit with a one-shot idea for ADWD2:R last night while I was trying to sleep. I played the demo after work yesterday (LOVED it, btw), and...
Since Grim Reapers are now allowed to know they were once human, I think that raises a lot of interesting potential internal conflict for the MC! Like, 0213 (MC) and 0204 (Atlas) have multiple conversations about their "favorite" things despite only existing in their new lives for a few days, picking out "human" names for themselves that feel right, etc.
I low-key want to make a one-shot with 0213/MC confiding in 0204/Atlas and 5012 (they'd both get their own seperate one-shots/sections around the same topic) about how, even though they have a favorite color, a favorite vowel, etc., is that something they have in common with their past life, or is it something that makes them unique from their prior life? Idk, it just came to me before I passed out, and I really like the idea and the potential angst that it carries ehehehe.
~Dialogue example below of what I'm trying to convey because I don't think I did a good enough job lol~
0204: "I can see you're thinking real hard about something... What's going on in that pretty head of yours, partner?"
0213: "Well... I was just thinking about how much I like the rain."
0204: "That's it? That's what has you looking all broody? Hehe... you look like 5012 whenever you make that face."
0213: "No, I was just... wondering whether I liked rain, you know?"
0204: "What are you talking about? Did you hit your head or something?"
0213: "I just... can't help but wonder about my life as a human, and how much that version of me... stuck."
0213: "Would they like who I am now? Would we get along? Hehe... maybe we're so different from one another, we'd both be shocked I was once them, and they were now me."
0204: "Damn, that's... kind of heavy. Are you feeling alright?"
0213: "I'm okay, I just... I wonder if they would regret becoming a reaper if they knew this is what it would be."
0213: "I keep daydreaming about what all I gave up, or how... horrible my life might have been if I went so far as to erase the memories I had of it."
Okay chat, be honest with me... am I cooking with this?? Would anyone be interested in seeing a one-shot based around this premise? I just really like the idea of the MC seeing their past life as a long-lost friend they can't talk to again because anything remotely related to self-love or self-connection makes me emotional.
Summary: You, 0204 (Atlas) and 5012 play truth or dare. Chaos is included.
Word count: 2.037
Notes: I wrote this before bed, so don't expect much. Gender isn't really mentioned much, if it's mentioned it is irrelevant. No use of y/n. With that said, enjoy <3
5012 had no idea how he got into this situation.
Well, that wasn´t entirely true. He´d agreed to it.
He had been so sure that they would not win the bet. He would not have agreed to it if he would have seen even the slightest possibility that you could win.
Nonetheless, you had won. Both you and Atlas, who was currently occupied shouting along to some 2000´s pop song like his life depended on it, had glamoured yourself on your first day. Impressive, he´d called it. When you called out the price of his loss, he had assumed you were joking.
There was no sense in pulling out now. He had never regretted not being able to lie and talk himself out of something more.
“5012. Truth or dare?”
You mused, your voice holding a cheerful tone that he found irritating to a degree that concerned him. He could barely make out your voice over the music, but to his absolute displeasure, he could make out the words either way.
“Truth, if I must.”
he said, making it clear to everyone in the room that, if he had a choice, he would rather be anywhere else. That only encouraged the two of you further, and even Atlas was paying full attention for once. You took a moment to consider what to ask but eventually settled on something tame. At least for now.
“Who is your favourite between Atlas and me?”
You asked and it earned you a roll of his eyes. You leaned in a little, which wasn´t exactly necessary with all of you sitting in a circle on the ground like you were a bunch of undead high schoolers. You just had to, the look on his face too amusing to miss.
“You are delinquents. Both of you.”
He stated. You knew it was true, not even because he could not lie, but because he was right. Atlas looked proud at that, a smile on his face that bordered on triumph.
“Sure, boss man, but that isn´t an answer.”
Atlas had spoken before you had even had the chance to remind 5012 yourself and he gave you a nudge. You liked him. How could you not, this place was all rules and judgement, Atlas was just about the only amusement you had. You gave a chuckle, one that reminded you of something you did not remember.
“You. Do not consider that a compliment, remember who the other option is.”
5012 had spoken like he regretted the word before it had even left his lips, his hand coming up to rub at his eyebrows, his expression drawn into a grimace that looked almost pained at the simple idea of wasting his time like this.
“Now that´s unfair. I will woo you, just wait!”
Atlas protested like 5012 had just insulted his entire bloodline. That alone turned your chuckle into a full-blown laugh. You gave 5012 a nod of your head, signalling for him to keep going, urging him on like you already knew he would not start by himself.
“Atlas. Truth or dare?”
Atlas did not care for his superior´s tone of pure, unaltered distain, already occupied with expressing his contemplation of the question by dramatically looking out of the window, like he was trying to find the solution to a complex mathematical problem.
“Dare. Oh, and don´t be boring!”
At least he had settled on something. To your surprise, 5012 looked like he was giving it some thought, then again, you figured that he might have been incapable of not overthinking absolutely everything. He seemed to have settled somewhat. He had agreed to half an hour, at some point he must have figured that it would be less stressful just to get it over with.
“Be silent. For the entirety of the next round after your turn.”
Atlas crossed his arms in front of his chest. Those kicked puppy eyes of his could really be his trademark, at least from what you were able to gather during the two days of being well… dead. Then, without further warning, his face lit up, like he´d just been given the opportunity of his life. 5012 looked scared.
“Truth or dare. If you pick truth I’m going to cry.”
Atlas looked at you with a silent plea and a smile that was so devilish that even you thought about not going along with whatever his newest shenanigan was. But oh well, this would probably be the only opportunity you would have to be a bit overboard in this new unlife of yours. Fuck it.
“Dare.”
You gave him a look that was supposed to tell him that he shouldn´t go completely overboard. The two of you seemed to have a different definition of completely overboard.
“Kiss 5012. Properly, not on the cheek or something.”
In the entirety of your life, even your mortal life, although you were unable to remember, you had never seen a man wearing a satisfied expression quite like the one that graced Atlas´s face in that moment. In the same vein, you had also never even dreamed that someone could look as horrified as 5012 did. You probably looked similar.
“Why would we? This is entirely unprofessional. Pick something else.”
5012 exclaimed. He had exclaimed something. Raised his voice and all. You were certain that this was a dream. Atlas on the other hand, just raised his eyebrows at him like he meant to say `you chose this´. He was right. He could not pick something else, because 5012 had dared him not to speak after his turn, which was completed by definition. 5012 had realized it before you could even speak. He was going through the different stages of grief in real time, with you and Atlas as his witnesses.
“We don´t have to. I´m not forcing myself upon anyone in that regard.”
5012 was almost surprised at your statement. Almost, because he had not taken you as the kind of person who would do something as atrocious to begin with. Still, the spirit of such a game was designed to cross boundaries and well, he had agreed to play, if he regretted that decision or not was irrelevant now.
“I will tolerate it. I keep trying to get the both of you to follow rules, if I set a bad example now, you will never learn, being as incompetent as you are at following simple instructions.”
You hated that he was right. For a moment or two, you sat there staring at him, wondering if you had misheard him, but when you saw Atlas looking back at you, giving you a thumbs up, you felt the hope being snuffed out in the matter of seconds. You gave a sigh, a small exhale meant to encourage yourself before letting your eyes drift over to 5012. He had already met your gaze, pale lilac eyes observant, yet not exactly threatening. You had expected him to be threatening considering the situation.
He was your superior after all. Wait, was he? You had never considered asking about it. He was your senior, by how long? Ugh. Great, in just two days of being a grim reaper you had already managed to get yourself into this mess. You must have been entirely insufferable when you still had years of lived experience in being a menace to society.
A snap of someone´s fingers pushed the thoughts away from your mind, your eyes locating the source of the sound on instinct, finding Atlas. He was gesturing again. Urging you on, you realized. You, responded in kind, silently shrugging your shoulders to tell him you were still thinking about it.
5012 cleared his throat, a sharp reminder that he was, for better or for worse, still an active part of the issue you were contemplating. You closed your eyes and then, not before another deep breath, leaned in.
He had caught your chin as you did so, two fingers tilting your face up so gently that it could hardly be considered forceful. You allowed it, his touch almost making you flinch with how cold his hand was. He held your gaze and for a fleeting moment you thought, surely by mistake, that you had seen care in it. He was reassuring you. You were fine. He was fine. You wondered why he had not just said it. He knew that it was because he could not lie. You closed your eyes once more before closing the final bit of distance.
His lips were soft, the kiss gentle in a way that would have made your knee´s weak had you not been sat on the ground. It was a contrast to his entire persona, too light for a man like him, too warm for someone that was cold to the touch. When his teeth scraped your lip, gentle enough not to hurt, present enough to tease, you couldn´t it. The whine slipped from your lips, a stolen little thing, not meant for a moment that was being watched by Atlas, who was sitting there with his mouth agape in utter delight.
It was over before you had a chance to feel it properly, the air around you suddenly feeling too empty in the places where his touch had lingered. You blinked. Once, then twice, adjusting as quickly as you could. When you looked around, you found that the room had already moved on without you. Atlas had already found another reason to make jokes that were more than inappropriate to the situation, 5012 was back to lecturing him as if nothing had happened at all.
“Time is up. Out, both of you. I expect to see you both on time tomorrow.”
He had spoken before you had gotten the chance to say anything at all, but you were not stupid enough to consider his tone as anything but final. There was something in it though. You struggled to identify it and again, your thinking taking long enough for Atlas to have left in the time you took to stand. 5012 had his back turned towards you, his gloved hands having returned to some paper on his desk, his attention no longer a thing that you could reach for. It was a foolish notion, the idea that he would answer your question. You decided on asking either way.
“Was that bad?”
You did not know why the question lingered in your mind so much, did not know why you felt shaken. He turned to you with a raise of his brows, making you feel smaller than you were. You wished you had not asked.
“We are not playing anymore, I have no intention to answer your question. We are colleagues, we do not fraternize and you will not mention this incident again. Now out with you.”
Did you ever get shut down like that while you were alive? If you did, you felt sorry for yourself. You gave a nod of your head, your expression betraying your feelings although you had tried to conceal them. Your steps were heavy, like the rain that had begun to fall outside of his windows, the rain that should not have been there at all considering the void this place had instead of a sky.
Just when your hand had wrapped around the handle of his door, a second thing that should not have been there at all joined the first.
“It was not.”
You felt the words in the hollowness of your chest, a soothing thing that your mind soaked in like it was the first breath of fresh air you were allowed to take. You did not consider looking back, you knew it would only end with another reminder to leave him to his peace, instead you did as you were told, making the way to your bedroom and sinking into the cushions of your bed.
Sleep did not find you that night, although you could have sworn that it had passed quicker than usual. It was no wonder, the way your thoughts repeated his words like a broken record was a form of meditation after all.
"Your papers are all messed up." You grin, stretching your neck back as you dodge a kiss from 5012.
He hums, palms pressing to the bone of your thigh instead, holding it in place as he uses his own legs to nudge you to spread further apart. You try to be good for him, but you also find that riling him up for a reaction is nothing if not funny. It's called playing your cards right, you insist. He calls it being a brat. You huff when he calls you that. You behave when you know it does you good. Besides, he's acting like he doesn't enjoy when you act like a brat.
"Be good."
"Like you were when you looked so good in that suit for me? Who knew you were hiding so much under that jacket of yours." You laugh, and 5012 puts his cigarette out in his ashtray on the side. The flame dies, and he looks at you, humming as he picks up the dead cigarette one last time.
"Open your mouth."
"What? Gonna—"
"Be good." He takes a final drag of the cigarette, hand grabbing your jaw to force your mouth open as he presses his lips to yours, taking the chance to slip into you as you moan into his mouth. You think your eyes nearly get stuck from how far back they roll. The smoke is tangy on your tongue as you inhale, an obnoxiously obscene moan escaping you when the smoke settles in your lungs.
The moan you let out isn't without effect, though, and 5012 moans back into your mouth when he bottoms out inside of you.
You're so so full.
He pulls his lips from yours, letting go of your jaw as he smirks down at you. "You're so good for me."
You clench around him at the praise, and his lips curl coyly against your neck before he sinks his teeth into the curve of your neck.
And, well. The bruises speak for themselves when 0204 asks why you're extra covered up in the video call in the morning.
