Looking back: 50 First Jokes 2016
Tonight was the second edition of what has become a wonderful annual tradition, 50 First Jokes: Atlanta Edition. What started in New York ten years ago by John F. O’Donnell has become a tradition all over the US, serving as the comedy kickoff event of the new year. This year’s show moved from The Hangar to the Highland Inn Ballroom, and thanks to host/producer John-Michael Bond, the 2016 edition was a huge success. Truly an incredibly fun fucking night. Congrats to the 50ish killer comics who came together and rocked it tonight. The Atlanta comedy community is one big, stupid, awesome family.

Looking Back: 50 FIRST JOKES ATLANTA
50 First Jokes is a comedy show started by John F. O'Donnell in New York City. Since 2007, this annual event has been the highly anticipated, first big kickoff event of the year and has franchised out to LA, New Orleans, Austin, Denver, and Ann Arbor, MI.
On January 9th, 2015, John-Michael Bond brought the show to Atlanta for the first time. Held at the wonderful Hangar in Old Fourth Ward, the room was packed wall to wall with audience members and comedians alike to watch 50 of ATL's best tell the first joke they've written in the new year. It was one of the biggest turnout's for a indie show in Atlanta, and one hell of a good time. Congrats to John-Michael for putting on a fantastic show!
