I had an AMAZING trip!! I made 7 awesome friends who I now have a GC with called "ATL gave us crabs." This is because our entire group was given plastic crabs that were on the stage. Ricky handed them out. I love my new friends!!!
Also we got really fucking close to the front of the venue so I was REALLY close to Alex (literally six feet under the Karth) and he loved our group.
(He looks further away in that picture than he was in person. I think maybe that photo was taken by my friend standing behind me. We also have a good picture with him but my friends are in it and I don't want to doxx them by posting it.)
We were really interactive with him and he talked and bantered with us. He asked me if Michael Jordan was a legend because I said I'm from Chicago. I got to give him all of the friendship bracelets I made for the band and my friend made an awesome crab hat for him.
He (friend) also gave him (Alex) a Chinese cigarette and he was like "a hat, some bracelets, and a Chinese cigarette! That's all you really need im life." He looked so happy. We also made up a chant for Rian. It was literally a magical experience. One of my friends and I also trekked to the chips shop which was a fun Nantucket walk past farmland. And the ferry was so much fun too!
The only shitty thing was that Jack had to sit sidestage the whole time. His arms stopped working/guitar was too painful to play because of his nerve damage. But he was there and I was glad he at least got to see it, even if it hurt because he couldn't do the thing he loved. But he did say THIS IS MY FIRST ALL TIME LOW SHOW! and I think he got my Lost In Stereo bracelet so hopefully he liked that.

Peace up A-Town Down
I love when the plot thickens. You know the drill over here where Hudcon sightings are concerned. If it's probable based on Hudcon's previous behavior, then I have no problem believing it happened. So, I have no problem believing Hudson went to Atlanta to visit Connor this past weekend while Bailey was there. I know people were afraid to believe this rumor, because of the source (CF shipper) and I understand, but I also share the sentiment, that after this past weekend, we deserve a moment of whimsy to believe this happened. Hudson going for a quick trip to recenter and get recharged with his soulmate makes sense to me. I'm also one of the few who believe Hudson visited Connor over Memorial Day weekend and then went back to Canada 👀. But I have no evidence for that one at all, I just like the idea of it, and we know that Hudcon can be very stealth when they want/can. Alright I'm out. I'm really showing my big Millennial Age with these musical references in this post 😆.
