1. Might seem grumpy about the whole ordeal and yet he's brought more flowers than he can carry at once. Just to be sure it's enough.

2. In broad daylight an unsuspecting victim might walk into a sudden rain of petals out of thin air. Such amount shouldn't have fit into just one hat and yet there's still a gift waiting at the bottom. Unlike the petals it does not disappear.

3. Nobody would expect a priest to set up a meeting like this and he clearly enjoyed surprising the victim with the invitation. Given his status and busy schedule, tea over a lovely conversation might just be a right form of a gift.

4. Did he make it on time? Right before midnight - so it counts! Might have broken out of jail just for this, as if it was an excuse. Somehow found time to comb back his hair before reaching victims window.
