Challenge - Something New (Extra Credit - New Technique)
For this weeks challenge I wanted to practice portraiture since I don’t do it very often but also explore settings my camera. I have an Olympus OMDEM10 and in camera there are about 12 art filters. While practicing on my brother, using the Sepia filter became my favorite. I feel that this filter or style is rarely used anymore. Also I loved where the lines were hitting on his face and body.

Shooting macro images of flowers is always fun and I did some more this week before the blizzard of heat took Merida (42C today; perhaps 43 tomorrow). They will come later.
The submission finally made was of Ivy, La Bestia. She is a terrible model but her eyes fascinate me.
