フジロックにはだいぶ反感を感じてるが、補助金もらうなら政府に反抗するなは国民健康保険を使うなら政府に逆らうな、と変わらんよね。権利なんだから堂々と使うべき。

The Roar Of The Stone Lion – By World Renowned Artist Walter Girotto
The Roar of the Stone Lion – Walter Girotto – Oil Painting
This magnificent piece of art by Walter Girotto is truly a masterpiece. The oil painting known as The Roar of The Stone Lion took nearly a year to complete. You can absolutely see the intent of Girotto in every single beautiful stroke. Girotto portrays his vision of an emotional end to the growth of human kind’s cognitive and intellectual understanding. His visual conception of humanity, which is coming into the end of an era in modern times where unhappiness with our present way of thinking and living has come to a finale. It stimulates the viewer in every way, it’s brilliant. Walter Girotto portrays a single masculine figure, almost god-like amongst the confusion. The stoic male ready to salvage the old patriarchy and ancient times. Moving past the age when moral and philosophical values were important and into the future.

Manly P. Hall Helps Us Define Images of Men or Gods From the Sea
We thought Manly P. Hall had some interesting information to contribute to this particular piece of artwork above. We thought that maybe this would help people define or give meaning to “The Roar of the Stone Lion” by Walter Girotto. If not, and you think Girotto just painted a beautiful painting. We still think Manly has some interesting teachings to pass down through the ages.
The mythologies of many nations contain accounts of gods (or a man that symbolizes a god in this particular situation) who “came out of the sea.” Certain shamans among the American Indians tell of holy men dressed in birds’ feathers and wampum who rose out of the blue waters and instructed them in the arts and crafts. Among the legends of the Chaldeans is that of Oannes, a partly amphibious creature who came out of the sea and taught the savage peoples along the shore to read and write, till the soil, cultivate herbs for healing, study the stars, establish rational forms of government, and become conversant with the sacred Mysteries. Among the Mayas, Quetzalcoatl, the Savior-God (whom some Christian scholars believe to have been St. Thomas), issued from the waters and, after instructing the people in the essentials of civilization, rode out to sea on a magic raft of serpents to escape the wrath of the fierce god of the Fiery Mirror, Tezcatlipoca.
May it not have been that these demigods of a fabulous age who, Esdras-like, came out of the sea were Atlantean priests?

Pelican’s Warning – By World Renowned Artist Walter Girotto
Heed the Pelican’s Warning, a work by master class artist Walter Girotto.
Oil and oil pastel crayon on wood panel.
Pelicans Warning – Walter Girotto – Oil Painting
The artist’s great masterpiece s a symbolic painting of extraordinary beauty and clarity of intellectual thought. The beautiful nude woman on the right represents luxury. She is vain in every way, enamored with her own beauty, material riches and the pleasures of the flesh. Luxury is partially obscured and hidden behind ignorance, represented by the man with ass ears. The kneeling man represents simple wisdom attempting to teach ignorance and luxury one of the roads to salvation that may save them from the corruption of life. The ballerina in the background invites luxury to reflection and with her right art indicates the road to the Pelican. In ancient times Pelicans were often thought of as prophetic figures.
The couple on the left represent family life, harmony, equilibrium and the possibility of arriving there by heeding the warning of the Pelican. The owl represents wisdom. The books represent knowledge and the wheel symbolizes harmony and the cycle of life. The moral of the story is that harmony and equilibrium may be achieved through discipline, knowledge, wisdom and family life, rather than the pursuit of vanity, relics and earthly pleasures. Only the ignorant would follow the path of corruption and not heed The Warning of the Pelican.
