#Repost @mncause4paws ・・・ Many of us who work in rescue do our very best every single day to help get these beautiful dogs adopted, fostered and rescued and it literally tares our heart apart when we find out one didnt make it out. This sweet dog was not the lucky one, instead we learned that this beautiful dog was euthenized. We are heart-broken when this happens to a furry friend. We fall in love with each of these animals as much as you do and we are devastated. At the end of the day it comes down to these facts: No one came, animal intakes are just way too high, and the building is very small. This becomes a community issue. We need stricter laws put in place, mandatory spay and neuter and hold people accountable for their pets. The more exposure we give these animals expedites their safe exit from the building. The shelter is very full right now.
