The week one challenge for the 52 Week Sewing Challenge is to organize your sewing space. I got a lot accomplished, but didn’t get to everything, but still enough to meet the challenge for this week. I share this room with our Newfie and a stray cat that’s recently adopted us. They sleep on this old sofa and had suddenly decided to rip it to shreds. I put a slipcover on it and they seem to like it. I also sorted the decorator fabric samples into new storage bins. I’d had most already sorted and stashed away but needed more bins for the rest. Also organized the patterns I plan to use in upcoming challenges into the order they’ll come up. Also finished 2 1/2 quilts so they are out of the way.
