How could I not post @garyg_1's #Grail-worthy #Patek #5370 #splitsecond #chronograph in platinum for today's #head2headcopycat. This photo doesn't do the details justice but I was fortunate enough that Gary let me handle this for as long as he did at last week's #redbarcrew. The first 3 button, large split without a perperual, concave bezel and this watch marks a first for Patek: an enamel dial with applied markers! An extremely difficult task with such a brittle material! 😰 I say bravo. The amount of work and detail in some of their watches are overshadowed by their price tag/worth but believe it or not, the brand is pretty shy about divulging the details of what consists of the hundreds+ hours it takes to craft each piece 😏 The #patekphilippeexhibition is a good start! #spanishrobhc #patekaholic #patekaroundtheworld (at New York, New York)
