Thanks so much! They were Californians but I don’t know if I just started them too early or what their deal was.
ehhh starting ‘too early’ isn’t really a thing - if the rabbit will lift, she’s old enough to breed. they may have just been stupid, from a line of poor mothers, or any number of things. i’ve eaten does for being bad moms before! everyone deals with it, lol. it took me about a year when i first started before i had a herd full of consistent breeders that didn’t kill their babies 🙄
