#5603 Town Dinner For One (Canada) I can’t front, I’m a Town fanboy rn. This is something new from them (for me, at least), a bold imperial pastry stout with chocolate, almonds, vanilla and lemon modelled after the Italian cake Parrozzo. Coming in at 9.5%, it pours hella dark with a huge espresso head and a strong almond nose, the body is rich with bitter chocolate vibes, the vanilla and lemon take care of the backbone, laying low but always present, it’s silky and velvety, a touch tangy, marzipan notes, very balanced, ending in a dry, luxurious finish.
