Aww, thank you so much anon! You too, take care, and thank you for requesting I hope you like this little scenario!

‘I can’t believe I’m doing this,’ Gokudera curses as his legs take him towards a classroom Hibari has claimed for his own personal use. When he reaches the door, he whips his head around several times to make sure no one was there to see him, to be a witness of what he was about to do. To his luck, no other soul could be seen. Even Hibari’s loyal henchmen had left at this hour.

But not Hibari. Gokudera knew he would find the male inside the classroom either napping or going over some papers. Gokudera had always been curious about the contents of the endless piles of paperwork on Hibari’s desk - what kind of middle schooler had paperwork to tend to, let alone the amount Hibari had. But investigating the matter would have to take place another time. 

Gokudera had a completely different mission in mind. One he had mentally prepared himself for weeks. After reaching a new level of desperation, Gokudera asked Yamamoto for advice which had lead him to this moment, lurking in Namimori middle during after school hours. 

He knocks on the door, the softness of the action surprising Gokudera himself. It was unlike him, this hesitation. Hibari’s muffled voice calls him in and Gokudera obeys, wiping his sweaty hands on his pants before he enters the room. 

If Hibari is surprised to see him, he doesn’t show it. The cloud doesn’t greet him in any way but doesn’t send him off either. Gokudera counts it as a win. It’s enough to get him to close the door behind him and walk up to the desk until only a table was between them. 

Gokudera slams his hands against the wooden surface, practicing what he wants to say in his head before taking a deep breath. 

‘’The doctor said I’m sick because I’m lacking Vitamin U. Go on a date with me and I’ll be cured,’’ Gokudera says, trying his best to wink. He is pretty sure it came out as an aggressive blinking, though.

‘’What are you talking about?’’ Hibari asks with his eyebrows knitting together in confusion, ‘’Did you just wink at me?’’

‘That fucking baseball brain, I should’ve never listened to his advice,’ Gokudera curses, his face turning red under Hibari’s stare. He was supposed to fall for him after that line, not look at him like he belonged in a mental institution. 

Gokudera clears his throat, ‘’What I meant was that if you’re not busy then do you want to, I don’t know, maybe go somewhere with me? Like a date?’’ He can barely hear his own words through the thumping of his heart. Hibari was going to reject him, he knew as much. Suddenly Gokudera was thankful for the fact that Hibari never seemed to laugh to he couldn’t laugh at his face after such a poor attempt in flirting.

‘’Like where?’’ Hibari asks, instead of the harsh rejection Gokudera expected. It catches him off guard and he gawks at the male, eyes as wide as platters. This had to be a sick joke, right?

‘’There’s a cat café nearby if you’re interested?’’ Gokudera trails off, blinking in confusion. 

Hibari slaps whatever folder he had on his desk shut and gets up, walking up to the door. When Gokudera doesn’t follow his lead, Hibari looks at him over his shoulder and says, ‘’Are you coming or not?’’

Gokudera practically leaps in his direction, tripping over his feet slightly as he stumbles after Hibari. Gokudera swears there’s a trace of smile on Hibari’s lips when he turns away.
