Sunday 6/29/18

This was a short dream that started so carefree and happy then quickly turned horrible and miserable.

My sister and I... We were in the back of an uber, it felt like we just came back from an event? Maybe, i don’t know but during our ride we somehow got lost in the desert.

As the driver was focused on the road, he was looking for a rest stop, maybe to ask directions, but instead we found an abandoned warehouse with an old truck in the front and unrecognizable items just thrown all around the yard. All of us were so curious when we pulled to the side and started rummaging through all the interesting and out of place items that were left outside.

But something did not feel right about this place. I turned around and saw a lifeless women, in the broken-down truck, with blood dripping down her finger. In a hushed tone, I called out to my sister, but I saw her go closer and closer into the building.

That’s when I saw that monster. No... it was more of a feeling. That’s when I felt that monster. Dark and gruesome. Cold and malice.

I jumped to my feet and raced over to my sister in a panic, she felt its presence too. We both started running towards the car, when we noticed the tires were flat and the driver was gone. Running away from the scene, with my sister by my side, my eyes followed the trail of blood that was spilling out of the car...

And that’s when I woke up. My heart was racing and breathing was difficult, almost like my mind actually believed I was running. But now, when I close my eyes I see flashes of the scenes but most of all the feelings that overcame over me.
