Pho Date: LRH
You always looked forward to your weekend with Luke because at the end of the week he was all yours. Work kept you busy while Luke was busy gearing up for the next album that was slated to drop in the new year.
After getting off of work for the week, you went home to pack a weekend bag to stay the weekend with Luke at his apartment with Petunia. You planned out your outfits and you made sure you packed at least one cute outfit in case you both decided to go on a little date night. You tried to pack all of things in your short weekends together. Even though you enjoyed the face time every night before bed, you had craved his touch even more.
“Baby I can’t wait to see you tonight.I don’t know who is more excited me or Petunia.” Luke texted you. Your heart melted when you read over his text before answering back with something equally cute.
“Aww Lu I can’t wait to see you both either. Let me guess you are more excited. how I miss seeing your face in person. I can’t wait to spend some time with you.” you texted back.
“I can’t wait to have you back in my arms even if its only for the weekend.” Luke replied back.
Soon as you had packed you headed out to Luke’s apartment which was across town, you were hoping that you didn’t hit all of the traffic on the way there but it was LA so who were you kidding. What seemed like forever, you finally landed in front of Luke’s door.
You knocked on his door, could hear Petunia’s muffled barks in the background as you heard boots shuffle across the hardwood floor. You waited with your dufflebag in your hand. He opened the door as his smile engulfed his whole face he put his arms around your waist lifting you off your feet as your bag fell to the ground. Your feet had officially left the ground.
“Welcome Baby, I’ve missed you so much.” Luke confessed. He brought you back down to his level and he put his head in between the crook of your neck. This was your favorite kind of hug from Luke were he just bared his emotions and melted into you so effortlessly. You knew that you were the only thing that could relax him and relieve him of all of his worries.
“I have missed you too my Golden Boy. Come let me in before we have to start a Petunia search party.” You giggled.
“God I have missed that laugh as well. I have planned the whole weekend out if that’s okay with you. I had some time on my hands after last night’s session.” Luke responded.
“I like when you plan things for it,I find it to be really cute.” You blushed. Luke took your bag as he guides you inside. You saw that the apartment was set up for a cozy night in. You loved when it was just you two in his apartment, it was like it was the first time he let you over to his place.You got butterflies in your stomach all over again.
“i figured I plan a lowkey movie night for our first night together and we are have our date night tomorrow and then we can have a chill day on Sunday, i was thinking maybe have a small get together here at the apartment of the boys and their ladies friends since they miss you too but i miss you more.” Luke said.
“This weekend sounds amazing I can’t wait to get started.” You exclaimed.
*Fast Forward to Next day*
You pull out Luke’s favorite outfit on you to wear on your date night. You did the bare minimum on your make up and you ran the curler through your hair but loosen them up with your fingers.
Luke watched you from the bathroom door frame, “Damn how did I get so lucky, you look stunning baby girl. I can’t wait to show you off to world tonight.”
You blushed by his words,” I could say the same about you too Hemmings. Thank you for your sweet words. I am curious on where we are going.”
“You will know once we get there.” Luke replied
The both of you leave in Luke’s car, the surroundings started to look familiar. You smiled at him as he drove sneaking in candid shots of him with your phone. He took you back to the place where you had your first date Pho 87. “I wanted to take you back to the place that was our first official date where it was just us.” Luke said as he parked the car. He gets out of the car getting the door for you.
You both walk up the hostess desk, “Hi reservation for Hemmings.” Luke told the hostess. You were surprised that he had everything planned, he wasn’t kidding. But the one thing that he couldn't even plan was you telling him that you loved him first.
The hostess brings you to the outdoor sitting that Luke request so you could have some quiet time. You both order bowls of Pho and some appetizers to share.You made small talk while waiting for the food to arrive. The waitress finally showed up with the food for the table.
Just as Luke is about to take a ladle full of Pho, you blurt out three small but powerful words, “I love you.” You waited on faded breath to see what his reaction was going to be. Luke looks up at you grinned hard, so you took out your phone to capture his reaction.
“I love you too. I have been waiting months to tell you that in person and not when i am staring at our photos of each other on my phone.” Luke said proudly.

You finished your weekend with Luke you had fun on your date and the small get together was everything that you wanted. You were happy to see everyone . Monday morning comes, he walks you out to your car putting your bag back into your car. He hugged you tight not wanting to let go, he found his head in the crook of your neck once again.

“Until next weekend, where we can do this all over again...” You told him before driving off.
