Nathan Wuornos (Lucas Bryant) Haven 5x10 Mortality (2014)
Audrey Parker: Maybe I should handle this.
Nathan Wuornos: Hey, I’ve been around sick people all day, I’m alive.
AP: Oh, what, you’re gonna go all macho on me?
NW: Yeah.– Everything okay?
Ap: Do you ever wonder if I’m real?
NW: What are you talking about?
AP: What if I’m like the bears? I lost my immunity to the troubles after I was split from Mara. We don’t even know how that happened. Maybe Duke didn’t separate me from Mara. Maybe whatever trouble he used on her.. created me.
NW: You’re real.
AP: You don’t know that.
NW: yeah, I do. ‘Cause I love you. You love me. And no Douen, or golem, or dancing bear can do that. You’re real, Parker. You have no… no reason to think otherwise.
AP[lots of coughing]: Maybe I do.
NW: Hey, you alright? Audrey said she’s feeling okay now and I talked her into staying until the test results come back.– Hey, Audrey’s not gonna want to stick around, so keep an eye on her, will you?
Gloria Verrano: Two eyes, ‘cause you guys are cute together.
—
Dwight Hendrickson: Heard about Audrey.
NW: She’ll bounce back, always does.
–
Pete Palak: We have to end this, Nathan. Find whoever’s behind this outbreak.
NW: I have Pete. It’s you.– Charlotte sniffing around your reports probably triggered it. The troubles have a tendency of bringing about our worst fears. In your case, the contagion.– This isn’t your fault. And we will stop it. And to do that, I need you to relax. Just focus. Focus on your emotions. Breathe. Come on. Breathe. Good.
PP: I can’t, I can’t, I can’t! I-I don’t.. I don’t deal with emotions, Nathan. Okay, I deal with numbers and figures, okay?
NW: Okay, then focus on that. Here. An equation or a number problem. Something. [Help me.] [softly] Alright. [He can’t stop me] We’re working on that. We’re gonna see if Audrey can help and we’re trying to stay calm.
—
AP: Nathan.
NW: Parker.
AP: We’re alright. There’s oxygen again.
NW: I guess Pete must have figured it out. [soft laugh] Things are finally starting to look up.[Audrey starts coughing] You’re still sick. How is that possible?
