@5x5slayer replied to your post: “I’ve got a dilemma. I have three new rp partners who’ve never seen...”:
I think they really need to watch the whole thing. They won't understand the weight and scope of Faith's part in the world otherwise. It's also harder to understand Faith's spiral and redemption if they don't see enough of Buffy's "good" to Faith's "less good." There is so much context lacking if they just start with season 3.
They won't understand why Buffy's hypocritical in her first reactions to Faith, either, which I think will ultimately give them the wrong impression of their early dimanic in early S3. Also, less good? I'm not going to tell our muses you said that. Because they're dangerous and fragile, and I like my head on my shoulders, lol.

‘i thought you were dead, but you’re not and i can’t believe it’ sex ((nat/faith pls <3))
she’s been gone a long time, longer than normal, longer than acceptable without word. but this is the manner of the beast, and they’d both known the risks when they met, it had simply never stretched out for so long before. deep cover for months longer than expected, and nat already knows faith has reached out to maria — and been given nothing. the black widow is a deniable asset, these days — maybe she always was — and for all the slayer knows, she’s dead in a ditch somewhere. but she’s not dead in a ditch, she’s back in town and filled with the kind of apprehension one can only know when coming back from the dead. it’s only when she reaches the door that she wonders if she should have called beforehand. would she even find faith inside, would she find her alone? in the time she’d been gone, had she moved on?
but her key still turns the lock, and it gives her enough pause to keep the freelance agent frozen in her tracks for a moment too long — a moment long enough for faith to throw the door open, dagger in hand. recovering quickly, nat breaks into a crooked smile, leaning against the door frame with amusement in her eyes. ❛ now, is that any way to greet your long los—— ❜ there isn’t enough time to finish the statement before faith’s arms are around her, her lips on natasha’s, and the dogs are circling them both with the kind of frantic excitement only animals can pull off.
there’s no time to greet them before the two women are entangled with one another, discarded clothes marking a trail toward the bedroom ( and nat just remembers to kick the door shut ) a force of nature made of two parts and bred from anger, frustration, and loneliness on both sides is the destruction in their wake. she hadn’t even known her own desperation until her fingers were pressed against faith’s spine, thumbs playing down her rib cage and she feels home again. ignoring all protests as her hands move from faith’s sides only to capture her face between them, she kisses her with the force of every lonely night, every letter she’d wanted to send, every moment that faith had crossed her mind in their long months of separation. catching her breath, her body stills momentarily, their foreheads meet and nat’s eyes are wide open, as if never wanting to close them again. there’s a quiet chuckle, barely a breath of laughter ghosting between their lips and she shakes her head. ❛ so — would you say you missed me ? ❜ // @defectivenightmares ——— fifty reasons
