Today is the 5th year anniversary of my Daily Drawings! From February 19, 2012 to Februrary 19, 2017 I have drawn 1,828 illustrations a day without having once missed a single day! And while this is an incredible milestone for me, it also feels a little bittersweet as I am announcing that I am bringing this project to an end. The Daily Drawings have made such an impact on my life: evolving my art style, my storytelling abilities, and opening doors for opportunities I never imagined I’d get for just wanting to share my stories and hope for some laughs along the way. But the Daily Drawing itself has evolved, from single panel daily stories to a full fledged webcomic, “The Evil Overlord (in training)”. And I find myself creating more and more storylines for it that I could not complete on a daily basis unless it became a full time job, which, unfortunately, I’m in no financial state to do. “The Evil Overlord” story will continue whenever I have free time and will be posted on my website and Patreon page publicly so everyone can enjoy it (I will be sure to post on social media when a new page is up!), so don't worry! The story goes on! I am actually genuinely nervous to stop something I’ve done every single day without fail, but I have been thinking about this for quite a while now. I see this as an opportunity to evolve my work even more, and to be able to bring even better content for you guys to enjoy, and that gets me really excited! I have plans for new paintings, new stories, and new projects. I hope you all will stick around for the next phase of my adventure, and of course thank you, thank you, thank you, for joining me thus far. I know some of you have been here since the beginning and I’m blown away by how awesome you guys have been. So cheers to 5 years!
