This has kind of always been the case anyway, but Future Redeemed especially makes it abundantly clear that the sidequests are canon in every Xenoblade game, right. And that’s already cool and I like it a lot, it’s nice imagining our parties taking a bit of time to help people out along their ways. But that also made me start thinking about like, I guess background lore objects and stuff from throughout the series? Stuff like the Legacy of the Seven giving us the cool rings, or the Celestial Compass from Future Redeemed that changes the weather, or all the random Giant’s ruins in Xenoblade 1, or a bunch of stuff from 2 that I can’t remember as well oops. It’s just interesting to imagine all these background things that give these worlds just that little bit more life, you know? I’d wanted to make a longer post about this but oops friends started a VC lol.
