#6099 Sir John x Pub BreWskey x Cheers! Faites Du Brew! (Canada) Shouts to Fred for this one! This is an 8.2% DIPA with peaches, Sabro, Strata and Mosaic hops, and lactose brewed to cerebrate the opening of Cheers! second store in Le Plateau. It pours hazy af with a foamy head and a shit ton of chunks, most of which don’t seem to really sink, the nose is tropical and peachy, the body is creamy and thick, chalky and dry, a touch boozy (but it could be the age - I think this is from November), tons of tropical fruit, the coconut from the Sabro seems to have dropped while the booze warmth must have risen, ending in a dry, chalky finish. I bet this was insane when it was fresh - it’s sitting at a drinkable level now but the chunks are a bit too much. If you still have some, crush it ASAP.
