#6132 The Veil Child Support (Simcoe) (USA) Since the pandemic, I’ve barely gotten my hands on anything outside of Quebec and Ontario so I’m stoked to get some Veil in me. We visited in the summer of 2019 and I was so impressed yet devastated that it’d be near impossible for me to get them again, but here we are. This is their 4.5% single hop pils with Simcoe, it pours a touch opaque (as a lot of DH Pils tend to do) with a bubbly, expressive head and a huge tropical nose, the body is light and crisp with some mild bitterness, the tropical fruits hit you in the face heavily up front, it’s bready and balanced, so fruity, a touch grassy and earthy with a dry, clean finish.
